Update on hubby's CAT/SCAN results......

He finally had the scan last week and the results are uncertain. There are no issues with his Gallbladder or Kidneys. But they discovered a 15 mm cyst on his pancreas and a thickening in the colorectal area at the site of his cancer surgery he had 13 years ago. They do not know if it is just old scar tissue or something new that is developing. Now he is scheduled for a MRI. Back to the waiting again. In the meantime we will move the Castor Oil pack to over the area of the Pancreas and pray that it may do it's work on the cyst. He has only mild discomfort every once in awhile but it does not last long.We are at peace. God knows what is going on. Our trust is in him.

His mental state is deteriorating quickly. His short term memory is gone. He has gone from a competent, organized person (was a long term Nursing Home Administrator for many years) that took care of all the finances, got the groceries, took care of everything pertaining to the car and did everything to make my life easier (not because I demanded it. That was just him) to now being in total confusion with any of it. My one big concern is that he is still driving. When I suggest it is time for him to hang up the keys he is astonished and says that's his only independence he has left. He does not think he is a hazard on the road. He often says I hope I don't get dementia but that's exactly what he is experiencing. I don't know what the future holds but I do know Who holds the future and that brings such sweet peace. God allows these things for our good and His glory.

Yes, God is in control. It is easy to see as I read His daily posts.   He is the most faithful to post than anyone. His choice of quotes is always very good as are his thoughts. He has his eyes on Jesus!

Let us pray for Pastor Sean and his wife Joella who have requested prayer as they continue their missionary work with the Ama in Papua New Guinea.

Amen brother Richard. Pastor Sean and Joella are in our every prayer. When our thoughts and prayers are for others it makes our own trials seem small.

Happy Sabbath from Australia! The Lord is good! Please pray for my wife Joella who is sick with an unknown sickness that she started experiencing while we were in Papua New Guinea. We are praying for healing as she gets more tests and sees a specialist soon. We are trusting Jesus through this trial, but blessed to be staying with a precious Seventh-day Adventist Christian family who are like family to us as Joella gets care. God is so good!

If you guys will keep Teresa/Theresa in your prayers it would be appreciated.

Earlier this week asked the Lord if there was a divine appointment for me I'd be happy help. Well I completely forgot about this prayer. Then 2 nights ago I went to the grocery store and on the way out of the parking lot I saw an elderly woman pushing a huge suitcase with a grocery bag attached to it. She was obviously struggling hard with it. So I asked her if she'd like some help after pausing to decided if she could trust a strange man offering help she said yes.

I put her stuff in the backseat as she got in the front. She then asked me if I was getting off from work. I said no that I was coming from church (prayer meeting). Then she proceeded to tell me how she use to be Lutheran but since the buses don't run on the weekend and the only church that will pick her up is the Salavation Army. I told her I belonged to the Tabernacle church downtown. As we got to her place and I was getting her stuff out of the back seat. I told her that I go to church on saturday but I'd be more than willing to pick her up this coming Sabbath morning.

Then said well I don't know what the Tabernacle is. I said...oh I'm a seventh-day adventist. Her voice and eyes perked up and proceeded to tell me how a SDA dr delivered her first baby and how she she use to be near Andrews and would go their health store and said that she had a lot of respect for Adventists. So I asked her again if she'd like to go to church with me. She then told me to call her before I picked her up because her mobility isn't good and needs time to get down the stairs.

Long story... but please pray for Teresa!

God answered your prayer Jim and Theresa is now on my prayer list. That's a prayer that should be on our lips constantly. Thank you for sharing that experience.

Amen!  Jesus is bringing to us those who love the truth.

Heavenly Father, send the Holy Spirit to Sister Teresa. Give Brother Jim wisdom to know what to share with Sister Teresa. Thank you for the privilege of sharing the truth with others. Water the seeds we have been planting and bring about revival and reformation in your church that we will care for those you are bringing, we pray in the precious name of Jesus.

I have a friend whose eldest son has chosen to runaway. He has been missing since December 24. I'm asking for those who read  this to please keep this family before God in prayer.

Amen!!  Heavenly Father, you know the situation with this young man, we ask that you take advantage of the situation to bring his family closer to you. We pray his safety and his soul. We understand how difficult it is for young ones in today's wicked world. We thank you for hearing our prayer for this family and know you will answer our prayers in the very best way.
