Leading Cause of Death in the United States

Adverse events in hospitals.     From National Institute of Health

Preventable adverse events are a leading cause of death in the United States. When extrapolated to the over 33.6 million admi ssions to U.S. hospitals in 1997, the results of these two studies imply that at least 44,000 and perhaps as many as 98,000 Americans die in hospitals each year as a result of medical errors. 3 Even when using the lower estimate, deaths in hospitals due to preventable adverse events exceed the number attributable to the 8th-leading cause of death. 4 Deaths due to preventable adverse events exceed the deaths attributable to motor vehicle accidents (43,458), breast cancer (42,297) or AIDS (16,516). https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK225187/

From 2021 to 2022, age-adjusted death rates decreased for 9 of the 10 leading causes of death and increased for 1. The rate decreased 3.8% for heart disease (from 173.8 in 2021 to 167.2 in 2022), 2.9% for cancer (146.6 to 142.3), 1.1% for unintentional injuries (64.7 to 64.0

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39685544/

: Overall, heart disease was the leading cause of death (26.2% of all deaths), followed by malignant neoplasms (22.7%), unintentional injuries (8.5%) and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19; 6.9%). Although heart disease and malignant neoplasms remained the leading causes of death in both sexes, unintentional injuries were the third cause for men (10.5%), while strokes were the third cause in women (7.5%).

Recently heard a doctor say that if we live long enough we will all get cancer.

That is not true. Most will get cancer because they continue to eat animals and their eggs and milk. The curse causeless does not come. Cancer is caused by a germ. Stay away from the germs that cause cancer. Here are a few that medical studies show cause cancer.  AIDS, mononucleosis (Epstein-bar virus), Human  Papilloma Virus (HPV), Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV), Hepatitis B and C viruses, Herpes Virus, and Merkel Cell Polyoma Virus.

The reason for the high incidence due to preventable adverse events as I believe is from drugs.  Many will reject the light we have been given when they are told that God does not want us using drugs to heal disease. Until drugs are synthesized, they came mostly from herbs. There is no side effect from the herbs, but when the remedial agent in the herb is concentrated (drugs), there are side effects which cause of problem for the body to heal.    Side Effects of Drugs

While He did not give countenance to drug medication, He sanctioned the use of simple and natural remedies.  DA 824. I personally do not think this applies to pain medication when doing surgery. Is there a medical missionary program in your church? Are you using simple natural remedies with family, friends, and church members?

Would a hospital allow the use of simple natural remedies in the hospital?  There were two times I was allowed to treat patients with a natural remedy. The first was the use of charcoal poultice. The second was using fomentations on a Covid patient. Both treatments were successful. Both patients were in critical conditions. The poultice cleared an infection that the attending physician said the patient was going to die when the chemo treatment for cancer led to a would have been fatal infection.

In that highly respected cancer hospital which was a teaching hospital, I questioned the doctor why they did not study the relationship of disease in animals causing cancer in humans. He asked me why we (Seventh-day Adventist hospitals) did not do it? It was a shameful moment as I recognized he was right. We had the light and did not walk in it. Our hospitals to a great degree have turned to drugs to treat disease.
