Reach the unreached
« on: July 25, 2023, 12:57:15 AM »
Dear Brothers and Sisters,

working together with refugees here in Europe my eyes were opened that there is another world. I found that we have nothing to reach this people in their mother tongues. As a first step, we translated (Glow) tracts about Daniel 2 and "Talking with God". Later also SOP books like Steps to Christ. They are languages like Kurdish, Somali, Turkmen or Tibetan. Our goal now is to reach these people from their neighboring countries. There seems to be  interest from the official church, unfortunately the Glow tracts were not printed until know. If anyone is interested, I would share this texts.

Other friends supported translation into Arabic, Farsi, Turkish,  Urdu language too.

Next Step is to support Bible workers from Morocco to Laos. There is great need for Bible worker and Health Evangelists in this countries and any ministries like AFM, ASAP,  nPraxis which working there. There are devoted ministers in official SDA church too and we send every year donation to Mena.

Only one sample. Morocco has 37 million inhabitants. How many there SDA? Only 8 - eight - are native. How many Kurdish SDA do you know?

I can`t pray that God should open doors because the doors are open. What we need is prayer to support devoted ministers and give him literature and start work in social media.

PLEASE keep on praying and support ministries which working in this countries. May God bless you.

Oh my dear Brother or Sister (excuse me)

this is exactly the work that remains to be done, the untouched terriorities, the untranslated languages to give the message. God already has His angels working these countries as I have shared in previous stories but we still need to go in there and work the fields. There is a work for personal evangelism person to person and with literature.

Estimates tell u sthat there are between 700 and 800 languages spoke on the earth today. Papua New Guinea is the most diverse with themselves 800 languages and dialects spoken. I spent 6 weeks there and that piece of information blew my mind. Each litte town and village has its own variation of language with Pigeon English being the most common.

So there lies the challenge, who will go. We can support with our prayers and our gifts to support those who go.
FAITH - As God's blessed sons & daughters we are to attempt the impossible to the extent that we will fail unless God steps in.   Keep the faith

Brother Curt, your plea and prayers are being answered right here on Remnant Online. Pastor Sean will go to Papua New Guinea. He is presently a pastor in the Michigan Conference, but will soon begin training. With our prayers and support by God's grace, he will lead a multitude to Christ.

Sean Brizendine grew up in Modesto, California, in a Christian home with a praying, godly mother who led him to Christ at the age of five. She taught him about the biblical Sabbath and to look forward to the soon coming of Jesus, which led to his baptism in a river at the age of 10. Though his father died when Sean was 12, and his mother died when he was 15, it was while attending Pacific Union College that an email came to him about finding the top 20 reasons to be a student missionary. After learning more, Sean joined the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2007 at the age of 20. Later that year, he experienced God’s call on his life to be a pastor, serving on various mission trips and gaining ministry experience through canvassing and, in the following years, non-profit ministry work.

It was around 2008 that Sean first sensed God putting Papua New Guinea on his heart, though he did not know if or when he would serve there. In 2015, he began serving as a pastor in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and was ordained to the gospel ministry in 2020. Having gladly served for over eight years, Sean has seen fruit from lives transformed by the gospel.

Already familiar with the work of Adventist Frontier Missions, Sean expressed more interest in AFM at the 2023 Michigan Conference Camp Meeting. After reading an email sent to him by Kyle Tumberg on August 24, 2023, Sean experienced a deep sense of conviction regarding the needs of the unreached and applied with AFM to become a missionary. On December 19, 2023, Sean was elated when AFM invited him to accept the call to minister to the animistic Ama people of Papua New Guinea. He sees this as God’s clear leading and looks forward to how God will open the way for each step in the journey to reach the unreached. Sean seeks to help hasten Christ’s return through prayer, giving, his personal effort and influence, and the joy of composing and singing songs to glorify God as he prepares to minister to the Ama people.

You can read Pastor Sean's posts in the Desire of Ages Forum where he posts daily.  here   Papua New Guinea will be blessed to have him as a missionary leading its people to Christ and His truth.  Let us support our dear brother as he makes this wonderful change in his ministry.   https://afmonline.org/missionaries/detail/9493
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Brother Richad, thank you so much for sharing this live personal testimony of Brother Sean. It would be great as a separate post for all to see.

Pastor Sean,
so happy to hear your story, wow, God really works. It will truely be a geat adventure for you in many ways and a growing experience. Animistic Ama or any other peopl group are simply searching for something or someone they know exist but do not know how to reach Him. That is our job.
May God continue to bless as you prepare and move forward on this His mission for you.
