Christians in Germany have united together to take a stand against the latest Hollywood box office hit, "Hannibal" which stars British born Sir Anthony Hopkins. They have written to the Chancellor and in a very easy to understand manner they have let him know the effects on the film can have.
Rev. Manfred Specht us the initiator of the protest, he said that such trash can only brutalize human souls. He expects that more and more young people will be drawn into violence and sexual abuse. Christians, who signed the Open Letter to the German Prime Minister Schröder, remind him of his oath of office. Schröder solemnly promised to "avert damage from the nation". Part of the letter reads: "The germ spread by such trash movies is more dangerous than BSE."
