Trans-European Division Responds to World Church Vote
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:09:42 PM »
Raafat Kamal , president of the Trans-European Division apologized to women in ministry in his division. "We had every expectation that the affirmation conferred on pastoral workers in the Seventh-day Adventist Church would be designed to express parity of ministerial scope in our region of the world. It is with shared sadness that the gap between textual and narrative approaches to biblical interpretation was not bridged among us. This, coupled with cultural variances in approach, means that the world Church is not able to recognise leadership where trans-national follower-ship cannot be relied upon. In this regard, we apologise for our part in creating expectations that have not been met..."
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

We do not know where  Raafat Kamal will lead the TED, but this short interview is encouraging. It is the Holy Spirit working through individuals that will finish the work entrusted to the church. If we are not born again of the Spirit, we can do no good thing. How can we lead others to an experience we do not have. It is Christ in us that will make us partakers of His divine nature.
