It is my strong purpose to ignore the war against Libya. It is a distraction from the work we have been called to do. But, we must recognize it as a fulfillment of prophecy. It is war, just as is Afghanistan.
Did anyone notice that Iran for the first time since Iran became an Islamic government sailed two warships through the Suez Canal? And, did you also notice that for the first time China sailed a warship through the Suez Canal? These are no little feats. I suppose Obama may have sent them an invitation apologizing for not having allowed them to do so in the past.
Does anyone believe that the stage has been set for a revival and reformation in "protestant" (little p) America.? Even many Democrats are unhappy with Obama for many reasons, not the least of which is decision to attack Libya. And I suppose he will be forced to approve some drilling in the gulf.
The war in Libya is truly a UN war. The UN grew some teeth this year. Russia and China did not approve of the war. Seems that the cold war may be looming again?
Wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, tsunamis, pestilence, and famine. Not to mention the call for nations to legislation forced Sunday rest. Religious liberty?
