Title: Prayers
Post by: Richard Myers on June 03, 2000, 08:18:00 PM
Heavenly Father, we sorrow with the community of Walketon, Ontario, Canada who have suffered from e. coli contaminated water which has taken the lives of some of their citizens. Please comfort those that have suffered great loss and use this situation to bring good from this bad situation, that some would be drawn closer to you in their great need. If there be any of our brethren in the community, we pray that you would use them as channels of light to help others.

We pray especially for the young children that have been infected, please hear our prayers for their salvation and comfort them in their suffering.

We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

I'd like to as for prayer for myself and our youngest son, Jordan, who has recently been diagnosised with a mental disorder called bipolar. He's only 8 and struggles every single day with this horrid disorder. Many times he's afraid because he "hears voices" telling him that dreadful/violent things are going to happen to him. We've talked about how Satan does all that he can to keep us from the Lord. It's still no comfort to Jordan.

My faith is becoming increasingly weak. Our home has been put in foreclosure and I have no idea what we'll do. The medication that Jordan has to take is very expensive and there have been days that I haven't been able to work, in order to be home with him. Hence, the foreclosure. I know that God has a plan, but it's becoming more and more difficult to trust in Him.

One last request. I found out that a young woman, who was 6 months pregnant, went into labor. I pray that the Lord will give this family the strength to endure whatever His plan is.

Thank you all so much.

You can accomplish more in one hour with God than one lifetime without Him.

Sister Marilynn, welcome to the fellowship. Our  hearts and our prayers are with you and your family. Jesus loves you and Jordan and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Heavenly Father, we ask you to hear the prayers of this mother for her child and herself. Please lead her each morning in her personal devotions to see Jesus and by beholding Him become changed. Give her a fresh revelation of the value she and her son have in your eyes. Reveal your presence that our sister may gain strength to carry on the work you have appointed her.

We know you do not give us more to do than we can do. Please provide comfort and peace as Sister Marilynn looks to you for grace, guidance, and strength. Be with Jordan. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort him. Provide his mother with wisdom from the health counsels that we have been given as a people, that will help her to correct any matters that effect her son's health. After our sister has done all she can do, both spiritually and physically for her son, I pray that you would heal his mind for your honor and glory and for his salvation. We thank you for hearing our prayer that we have prayed in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to you on behalf of our dear sister Marilyn and her son Jordan. The burden is great for her at this time also because of the future of her home.

You are the Great Physician and so we petition you to give her the wisdom and guidance needed in dealing with her son. Strengthen his mind and give wisdom to the treating physicians as well.

The financial situtation and stresses, we present to you. Give Sis Marilyn the strength
and the resources to survive this ordeal.
Comfort her today, we ask in your Holy name.

AMEN.

Dear Sister Marilyn,
I want to share this text with you today:
"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest throught the fire. thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isaiah 43:2

We will continue praying for you.

With Christian love and concern,
Dugald

PRAYER FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS:
(see post under Signs of the times by Sister Avalee)

Our Loving Heavenly Father,

We approach your throne of Grace and Mercy at this time cognizant of the atrocities, the abuse, the torturings, and the homicides committed against your people who are not giving up the Faith. Their cries are ascending from many countries over this sin laden planet. We join in their petitions.

Throughout history, many have suffered and died. Stephen was stoned, many were burned at the stake and sawn asunder, These horrific acts which are continuing make us more aware that you are even at the door.

We pray for the christians of Bangladesh, India and Southern Sudan as well as other places in Africa, Asia and even here in the Western World. O God, these witnesses make us more committed to serve you and to take advantage of the short time left to bring a message of hope to the world.

Be with them in their sufferring. Be for them the shelter in a time of storm, and guard them with the shadow of your wings.

Let them realize that it is blessed to be persecuted for righteousness sake for great is their reward.

Open the eyes of their persecutors that they may see your Spirit in those being persecuted; and may more Pauls arise from these calamities.

We ask these mercies in your Holy name.

AMEN

  Dear Father in Heaven,
I ,too, add my prayer to Dr. Dugald.
Surely we can see the signs that all things are almost complete. Father , we come to you in the Person of Your Son, Jesus, who is interceeding on behalf of your children (US). Father, we cringe with horrow at the advances of the enemy, but we also know that You have promised that You will be with us in the time of our greatest need. In fact, You have said that You will be with us as "we walk through the valley of the shadow of death". Father I just ask that each one who is confronted with choices will make the one that You have promised "Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life". Father God, many of us don't understand why horrible things happen, but may we realize that Satan is surely showing his true colors, by "pulling out all the stops", for the Bible says "he knows his time is short."
And may each of Your faithful ones also know that :"You are with each one until the end of the age".
This I ask in the blessed Name of Jesus , our Saviour and Redeemer, AMEN and AMEN!

  Keep "the" faith!

Heavenly Father, we ask you to give your church an extra measure of the Holy Spirit during these next two weeks as the leadership of your church meets in a General Conference session. We want to do your will and reflect your character. We are an erring people who have not done as you have counseled. We have sinned and brought reproach upon your dear Son. We have delayed the soon coming of Jesus  for many years and by so doing misery, suffering, and death lingers. Forgive us loving Father. We know of your mercies and your kindness, yet we still withhold our hearts from you. We need more grace that our cold, hard hearts would be broken as we learn of your forgiveness towards the children of men. Please, in the precious name of Jesus pour out your Spirit upon your people! Amen.

Dear Brothers and Sister:

My prayer request is for my friend Kathleen. She has psoriasis all over her body and has had it for years.  As well she got Hepatitis C during a surgery she had 10 years ago.  Now the doctor sent her to have an ultrasound on her liver and has told her it could be cancer.

This dear lady has no family and a very sick husband to care for as well as herself.  She is in her early 60's and has no family other than her ailing husband.

She will be going back to the doctor on Tuesday to learn the results, so if you could include her in your prayers for the next few days and beyond I would appreciate it.

She is very emotionally immature because of the abuse she received as a child and right now she is very scared. She loves the Lord, but like all of us does not want to die.

I have had prayer with her myself and will continue to do so.

thank you

Liane

 Dear Heavenly Father,

Father God, I present to You, Sr. kathleen, who is going through some very heavy trials. Father, You know the circumstances, for You know our frail structures, And May You step in and restore our sister to health . Father, you desire that we can be vessels to be used of You,and I ask that Jesus will become very NEAR, and very REAL to Kathleen. Restore to health again Father if it is Your will, and if not, then give her the assurance that You are indeed with her as she goes through this dark valley. Oh God, we look forward to the soon coming of Jesus, when there will be no more sickness or death. Father, I just ask that You will bless and comfort Kathleen! In the blessed and most WOnderful Name of ALL Names, Jesus, and for His sake, AMEN and AMEN!

Heavenly Father, we know it was not your plan for man to be sick or to die, but that the suffering and death we suffer is the result of sin. We suffer with those that suffer.  We ask for you to comfort Brother Crawford's mother-in-law. She is quite ill and we ask that you would draw especially close to her at this time. If it would be for her salvation and your honor and glory to heal her, then we ask that you would. We also ask that you would comfort the Crawford family in this time of need. Dear Br. and Srs. thank-you for remembering our daughter Julie in prayer. She is home now, weak, but recuperating from pnuemonia. It can be very frightening to be sick and waiting on planes for transportation in the wilderness of Alaska. I was seized with fear , being so far away from my child when she needed me, for the first time. Your prayers were a great comfort. Jesus hears and is faithful. Post by: Joan Rügemer on August 03, 2000, 10:31:00 AM
Well, folks,(careful...have patience...this may take a few paragraphs to explain)

Here I come slowly, softly, into this prayer room. I am not accustom to sharing a problem and asking someone to pray for me.The old resistance of not praying to RC saints has something to do with it unconsciously, I believe. Since my conversion, I've always been of the opinion that I must have 'oil' for myself. I must provide for my own spiritual upkeep and go myself to the source directly. I can't depend on the 'inside connections' to Jesus that others have. I was taught as a RC kid growing up that only by appealing to Mary would my prayers of importance get answered. Only she could bend his intentions like at the Cana miracle to get things done.

Welllll, since conversion I have learned and practiced talking to God my heavenly father through Jesus direct.
One of the heartfelt hurts of my years in Turkish mission work was not having a prayer partner for the sake of building me up in the faith and having someone to talk to about
what was happening. Glory be to God ! The Grace of the Lord WAS sufficient for me. I still am convinced that I could have been more effective and seen more fruit if the local church took my efforts seriously and supported me in prayer or whatever. The opposite proved to be the fact.I've forgiven.

Now I don't want to sound selfish. I just have a heartfelt deep desire to live where I live in peace. But who doesn't. The request is the strongest desire to have : ....loving believing accepting neighbours move into the cottage just to the left of us.

The man living there now, Wolfgang Leyer -58, never married, has a 30 year old daughter born out of wedlock who hates his guts, he also has a sister who he hates the sight of, and each time he saw me the first year of our living here, he almost always had a dumb-blond-joke rolling at me. I do look like a cross between Pamella Anderson and a Tellie-Tubbie. Many have the impression at first of me as being a softie-auntie who does good to all and has no willpower to say no. Wellll, this guy found out (as so many before him) what a toughie I am with my willpower. Probably because I kept resisting his attempts for butting into our private time or meal time (to stay for eats) or using Alf's do-it-yourself talent to go and fix all the problems on his house....he started spreading bad talk about us.
Now he announced he is looking for lodgings elsewhere.
My request is......
It will be more relaxed for me if someone would buy his place with whom I could get on with. And that he finds a suitable place for his needs ASAP!!

I do and have prayed about this. It is so important for me to accept the discipline of the Lord indeed over above my plans. I will accept what comes but still want to fight in prayer for this heartfelt desire.

It is unusual to know that you will pray for me about this. I thank you all in advance.
....loving you for this....your Joan in faith toward Jesus's power.

Sister Joan, how about this?  Dear Lord, you know the heart of our dear sister. You know that she loves you and desires to be your witness. Please send a neighbor who will be open to the moving of your Holy Spirit. Not a convert, but one who desires to know truth and can see the love of Jesus in our sister. We know the planting may take time to bear fruit, but we do ask that you give our sister the opportunity to minister to one who desires to know you, if it be according to your will. We pray in Jesus precious name.

And we pray for the neighbor who is moving, that you will water the seed that has been planted. Who knows that the man may become a Christian tomorrow. Only you dear Lord, only you.  In Jesus precious name we pray.  Amen.

Heavenly Father, you have put a burden on the heart of our sister for her daughter and now we are sharing that burden. We join our hearts with hers in asking you to send your Holy Spirit in answer to our prayers. Help this young lady to see the "unseen" world around her. Help her to value the sacrifice of Jesus. Help her to see that the things of this world will soon pass away. Help her to see her mother's love and concern. We pray that you will arrange circumstances such that she will be led closer to you. We pray for her salvation. We claim your promise that you will contend with him that is contending with us and you will save our children.

If there is something that our Sister Renee can do to help her daughter at this time, we pray that you will give her wisdom to know what it is and strength to do it. Perfect love casteth out all fear. We pray for an extra measure of your Holy Spirit for this family and we ask for these things in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

If you go to the Social hall forum you will see the story about Tammy-Jo. We will just pray for her here.

Father in heaven you know how Tammy-Jo and her family are suffering right now, and we leave this case in your hands asking that if your name can be glorified and you will be done that Tammy-Jo's suffering will cease and her sight be returned. Bless the Doctors as they try and work out a solution to the problem. Give the family abundant strength to be able withstand the attacks that are coming from the devil.
We now leave them in your hands and ask this in and through the blessed name of Jesus.

I , too, would like to ADD my thoughts and prayers to the above requests. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have been unable to spend more time in this Prayer Thread. My thanks to Brother Richard, and ALL the others who have so adequately stepped in and helped me out!

However, my dear wife, Beverly has now returned from a 2-month absence, and hopefully, I will have added time to spend on TRO. Thank You for your prayers for Bev and I at this time. GOD IS GOOD!

 Dear Heavenly Father,
I would just like to add my petitions along with those in The Remnant Online to petition You for Your continuing love and care for each of us-Your children. Father, I present to You renee's daughter. God, You know all things, and I just pray that she will come through this episode, stronger and more firmly believing in Your power. Father, Thank You that we can call on You at any time, and that You ALWAYS hear us.

Father God, I also ask that You will be with Tammy Jo and her family. Father God, You are the Great Physician, and You care for the welfare for each of Your children. Lord God, I ask that You too will intervene and restore healing both physically and spiritually to all concerned.

And Dear Heavenly Father, as TRO expands to the world, may OUR goal be reaching hurting people, that Jesus Christ will become REAL to each one searching. Father, You have given us an awesome task, and we just ask that WE will have an outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to enable us to finish the work. Oh, God, may we each one recognize that we are standing on the threshold of Jesus' SOON Coming, and that we, Your servants, will be able to do, what we should have done in earlier times, but failed, Now Father grant us Your blessing and Your Grace. In Jesus Name and for His sake, AMEN! and Amen!

Title: Prayers
Post by: Laurie Mosher on November 03, 2000, 02:10:00 PM
I've just received some special prayer requests on my email from Br. Clive, so will paste them in here:

Hi Laurie
I am going to send you some emails from 'A---', She would like to go on your prayer list but would like to under a different name.

Hi, yes put 'K' and 'O' on the list, but just in case 'O' ever accesses it, maybe use other names.
I have been really down yesterday and today.
Please put me on your prayer list too, as I am really not coping.  I am falling apart at the seems, and not able to function in the home.  It is a dark valley and I will come through but the going is hard.
Today I read Isaiah 54 and it meant a lot to me.  I feel like it was just for my situation.  So I take comfort in that, knowing God has control over the situation.
 Romans 8:28 too.
We are all out of noodles!!!  That means I have to make something and I have no idea.  It is a major task just doing the dishes.  I feel I accomplished something because I made the beds this morning, but that is all I did.
Depression is bad. I am going to see P.R.tomorrow to get some help.  It isn't good for the kids to have me like this.  And I cant eat properly and am losing weight again, so I had better do something before I get sick.
Thanks for your support.  'A....' said I should come over and stay one weekend.  I should do that when I have the kids and we can have some fellowship.

"I am praying for 'O', and in fact have resigned myself to even pray for healing of the marriage, if God can work a miracle in O.
Please pray for 'K', as he is involved in drugs and alcohol and I really don't know how to handle it.  It is hard when you have no husband to support you.
I guess 'M' will learn that one day.  I still pray for him too though.
But there has to be miraculous changes in 'O' before I would consider reuniting.  All is possible with God, but then 'O' has free choice.
Anyway, have a nice Sabbath.  I hope I will, but my mind is with 'K' right now, as he needs constant prayer over him.
 *****

Well, it seems this dear sister has reached "the end of her rope". Let us pray that she will tie a knot in the end and hang on!!

 Dear Heavenly Father,
I present to you Sister A. Father You know her situation. It is a desperate one, and she cannot see the end from the beginning as You do.
Father I ask, that in a SPECIAL WAY  You will make Your will known to her, so that she can find peace, and strength to carry on. Oh God, ALL of us can see the old devil pulling out the stops to bring down the family. Father, Your Son Jesus defeated Satan at the cross, and we rely upon His victory over the enemy. Satan is a defeated foe, and we just ask that Jesus will be REAL to our dear Sister in Australia. Father, Thank You for hearing our prayers and answering them TOO. In the blessed and MOST WOnderful Name of Jesus who died for us, and enabled us to be friends with Him, both now and IN heaven. Keep each of us faithful Father, and May WE ALL walk in the steps of the Master! In Jesus Name, AMEN and Amen!

 COURAGE SISTER "A"!

Heavenly Father, we ask you to hear our prayers for our dear sister who needs your help. Please send your angels to remove the darkness that surrounds her. Help her to see the "unseen" world that will never perish.
Comfort her with the realization of your presence and give her faith in your promises I pray in Jesus precious name, amen.

Heavenly Father, you have asked us to come to you and to lay our burdens at your feet. We lack wisdom to understand how to pray in many circumstances, yet we know we ought to pray. We know that the end is near and can hear the little horn speaking with his mouth to change the times and the laws. We can see the image of the beast forming. We have witnessed the union of Roman Catholicism, apostate Protestantism, and spiritualism.

You have told us we are to resist efforts to pass Sunday legislation. Now, we in the United States are faced with a terrible choice, either outright immorality, or those that purpose to legislate religion into the government. Heavenly Father, I know not how to pray, but I ask you to accomplish your purpose in the elections in the United States. Over rule the evil and bring good out of it. The spurious Sabbath is being proclaimed and we have not done our part. Forgive the people you call your own, for we have sinned in the light of the knowledge of your love.

We need more of your Spirit. You know our hearts and how sinful they are. Pour out your Spirit upon your church and cleanse us from our unrighteousness. We have brought reproach upon your name. Sanctify us, oh God in the presence of the heathen that they might know you are God. Give us new hearts that we might  walk in your statutes and keep your judgments, I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Dear Father in heaven,
We in Canada, are also in dire straights!
An election is occurring tomorrow (Nov 27/00) for a New Prime Minister, and with all the "dirty politics", it is difficult for any of us to see, anything positive coming out of it. But we know and Trust that YOU are still in control of the affairs of all men. Father, one doesn't have to have a brilliant mind to know this world is in DEEP trouble, and the Middle East crisis, is threatening to blow up moreso also. Father, I just ask, that YOU will continue to hold us (your faithful people) here on TRO and around the world in the palms of Your hands.
Father, "the wheels are coming off' of this planet, and we know soon, Your Spirit will be totally withdrawn. BUT Father You have promised that Your Holy Spirit will enable Your convicted ones to give the Loud Cry, O GOD, HELP US to get the work done.
We're tired of being "sick and tired". Come soon Father and take us Home.
And keep us faithful no matter what comes.
In Jesus Name and for His sake, AMEN and AMen!

Heavenly Father, I add my prayers to my brother's from Canada and Australia and others from around the world that are praying for this family that is separating and causing such pain for their children. Please hear our prayers and work in their lives to bring them to you.

As we near the end of this world's history we expect to see difficulties in the political systems of the world, but we ask you to hold back the winds of strife until the message of your love has gone forth to every nation, kindred, and tongue. You have men in high places that will respond to your Spirit and we ask you to strengthen them and lead them to oppose the evil being contemplated in both the Canadian and the U.S. elections and throughout the world as there are many nations having great distress. May your will be done, we ask in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Are there contempory Elihjah's out there reading who sense being called to this 'Mt. Carmel' of The Remnant Online for the sake of praying to let the blessing, guidance and power for the usage of this Online forum to build up the true believers in Jesus ? Are you there ? Are you hearing the voice within to pray for us here to break the bond of secularism, consumerism and materialism causing 'Laodicia-itis amoung us?

Ellen White said, "Prayer is the key in the hand of faith to open God's store house."

So let's believe that a successful church marches on its knees.

Prayer :

In the Name of God's only begotten son Jesus the Christ, I look up in faith to the throne of God and plead for His will to be done in our lives who are connected with this Online forum.

I plead that the Holy Spirit will see to it in each of our hearts that we will indeed put Christ first above mer human activities.

I pray sincerely that His Spirit will be the driving force in our ourreach to one another when speaking of truths.

Please do not let any self-destructive elements come to rule in this Forum.

May the purposes of evangelism through the internet be made possible through each of us.

I pray for spiritual renewal in each individual who seriously reads and studies the Word.

May the sweet gentle spirit of harmony and peace between us be present when conflicts or divisions in viewpoints should occur.

Thank you Jesus for your Blood which has made us clean.

Thank you for your service of intercession or us in our time of santification.

Thank you for hearing this prayer and we may approach our father God in your name.

Amen

Prayer :

Father in heaven, hear my prayer for us here on earth who are preparing ourselves for the coming crisis. Let more of us begin to have such a heart which overflows to the ones around us that we will not want them to continue being indulgent in sin.

Help us loosen our tongues to show them the gospel that they can stop pursuing the course they are on now for ruining their souls.

Give us your grace for having courage to be bold in telling these others in a tactful way what truth is about their condition and how Jesus is their Saviour.

Please let us be thoroughly stained with the thought that we are not to fear he who can kill the body, or the enmity of Satan, but to only fear should we surender the truth because of wanting to save our comfortzone.

My God, I can't think of anything more beautiful as when Jesus confesses us before you because we have confessed you before people we know here where we are.

Jesus, you have taught us that no sigh of yearning from each of your children goes unheard from you, or never is a moment when you are not feeling our pains or never is a time that you are not participating in our griefs.

So I also pray for those of us who are entangled in confusion because of these things and ask for you to relieve us of these torments to be free to serve you and to serve others without handicaps.
For Jesus sake I pray, amen.

My Precious Lord:

Thank you for another day of life. In which I am now able to share a Sabbath rest with you. I ask for those that are hurting, in sickness and who are in emotional pain, that they open a window to you and let you come in and share this road that they are in.

With the reaching out to you, that they ask for forgiveness Lord, that they ask for courage Lord, that they ask for hope and joy in their lives today, resting in your loving arms.

If there is any person that you have a difference with, whether they be family or friend, no matter who started and who finished the separation, that they have the courage to reach out to this person today and that in this reaching out they both will receive a great blessing for this Sabbath with you.

Oh that the world could come to know that love, to come to know that Sabbath Rest in you. A day given for peace and a closer walk with You. Set apart for fellowship and joy in this wonderful day.

It is my prayer Lord that as the world comes around that we each greet you in this Sabbath rest in rememberance of the day that you gave this Sabbath rest for all the world to enjoy and that we look forward to the time when we will experience this Sabbath rest for all eternity.

Again, Lord, thank you for this beautiful day, even though it may be cold, rain, snow, the warmth from all the blessings of Heaven reach down to us and keep our souls lighted by your glory.

In the Name the Son, our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing all of you a blessed Sabbath.

Dear Lord:

Thank you again for another day of life. What a precious gift it is to be with you at another Friday's sunset.

Please accept this humble offer of prayer. As you know I am very poor at this, so please forgive me if the words do not come well said.

Lord, there are many hurting in this world. My thoughts are with them.  I may not know there names, but I know that you know every one of them. I pray that they will somehow open a window into their hearts and minds to let you in. That they hear the knock at the door, you asking to be with them.

Yes Lord, I know that walk in darkness, what is feels like to not have a friend, someone to talk to, someone to cry with, to share all my pain and sorrow, until I found you. I hope and pray those out there within the church and  those out side of the church will reach out to you tonight, on this special night, this haven of 24 hours that could be for them as well as I have come to love and wait for each week.

I pray for TRO, that the growth of these gentle souls, looking for a home, a place where there is peace and faith and truth. May their cups be over flowing with all.

Thank you again for this opportunity to share my prayer with others. May others be blessed by these words and find it their heart that gentle love that comes from you.

In Jesus name. Amen

Thanks for your prayers, Brother Stark was at church last Sabbath, when he went to see the specialist he had second thoughts about an operation and will see how he goes in the next few weeks, he has an ulcer on the heel, Sister Dethick is still in hospital and is feeling more comfortable.

I have a burden for Brother and Sister Braun, church members. She is getting weaker by the day. Nursing staff suggested to him that he contact a funeral director, the end is near for her, she does not know anyone at church and has to be helped in every thing.

Father in heaven thankyou for hearing our prayers, You know the situation with Sister Braun and without your help there is no earthly cure for sickness, we do ask that you can comfort her and Rudi in this time, give them both courage and faith, be with the children and bless each one, may they all come close to you now. In Jesus name Amen.

I trust you to influence the new foster parents or whoever takes over him in care to give a christ centered influence. Hi,
my project in New Jersey is closing this week. Something happened in the building here last week that gave me an opportunity to give one of the residents here, Dr. E. P. a Ministry of Healing book. She thanked me and said she would read it in two days. I got back in to New Jersey from Toronto last night, and as i was getting into bed I got a call from the front desk asking if I can assist by taking someone to the hospital. It was the dear Doctor. She had to rush back from a presentation in Vienna with a terrible headache and other severe symptoms. I took her to a New York Hospital of her preference and in the car prayed with her. She was quite thankful for the prayer.

Please pray for her recovery and that the Lord will give me another opportunity to tell her more about Him, before I leave this project on Thursday.

Father in Heaven,
with love in my heart for you I want to praise you for offering your answer for our sin problem in the only begotten Son of your Jesus our Christ.

This sin problem is still happening in the lives of many who are posting or reading here on Remnant Online.

I wish to pray for them who love you but are now under awful attack in the unseen realm where the demons are influencing the thoughts of relatives and friends close to our forum member.

In your love for this one please let the influences of angels and Holy Spirit pull the faith within her/him up -and standing with strength, to ignore the bad words, deeds and events being caused by the ones around this precious believer.

Allow this believer now in this moment of trail to claim bible promises, trust in you Lord and to keep on resisting the way of the flesh to hit back.

I ask, without doubting, for You Jesus our Lord, to reveal your wisdom to that one who is now in turmoil and give them peace of assurance of your supporting love.

Glory be to your name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, we pray for each of our members and their families. We know that each day you allow trials to come. We pray that your Spirit will be in our hearts that we may claim your promise that we will not be tempted beyond what we can bear. It is your desire that our trials will refine us. It is a painful process, but one that will produce much fruit as we abide in Christ. Hear our prayer for our family. Send your Holy Spirit and angels to minister to those in need. We thank you that we have a Saviour and that we can understand at what expense. Give us grace for today, we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Happy Sabbath to all.
It is Sabbath morning here (Australia)and today our small girl Chantelle is still in hospital, she has had pneumonia, not real bad but the doctors thought with her condition it was best for her to be in hospital. My wife is planning to go to Central Church in Brisbane with another lady from PNG. If she goes it will be her first time to go to an Adventist church.

Father in heaven this morning I ask that you will be with Chantelle as she is still in hospital, bless her and be with the doctors so that she will be recover and be able to come home soon. Also be with Theresa as she takes Wendy to church for the first time, please stop the devil from putting obstacles in her way this morning, in Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Blessings
Clive

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask also for you to be with Chantelle today. Comfort her and give the doctor wisdom to know just how to help and to discern what can be done  to prevent a re-occurance. Also, please be with Sisters Wendy and Theresa, I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Matthew 19:13  Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray:

Our precious Jesus, we know you have looked over Chantelle these few years on earth that she's been around, and we praise you for giving her to believing parents. You are concerned for the wellbeing of Chantelle just as Clive and Theresa are. Please, through your hand laid on her let the infection be totally healed. May she be then rejuvenated to have a stable immune system.
I ask of this in the authority you are invested with, thank you.

amen.

Thanks for your prayers.
Chantelle has just come home and is feeling much better. :)
Wendy did not make it to church as she is flying back to PNG and had other matters that had to be attended to. She asked Theresa to continue to pray for her.

One of my pastors' brother-in-law, Garfield Sargeant, fell 6 stories down a shaft while doing construction in Florida.  Please pray for his recovery, and that God's will will be done in this matter in his life and in the lives of all concerned.  Thanks!

Heavenly Father, we ask you to send angels and the Holy Spirit to minister to our Brother Garfield. You have placed a burden on our hearts to pray for him and his family and all involved in the situation. We want you to turn this situation to your honor and glory. It was never your desire to see death, but you have allowed it and will use it for good. There are many people involved and we ask that you work in a way that will reveal your presence. If it can be for your honor and glory and Brother Garfields salvation, we pray you preserve him. Give skill and wisdom to those that are working with him. Comfort the family and give them wisdom to know of your concern. We pray these things in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We have a request for prayer from a missionary to China. There is a precious soul that we shall call "Sally" that  was brought into contact with this missionary. In this communist country there  are great pressures brought to bear upon individuals. There is little freedom in the workplace. "Sally" is having a great struggle. Please join with us in prayer for "Sally."

Heavenly Father, you know "Sally" and you are speaking to her heart. We ask you to work in a special way for her salvation. Thank you for bringing her case before your people that we may pray together for this precious soul that has been reared without a knowledge of you. You have led her to our missionary friend and good seed has been planted. We ask you to water that seed that it may produce fruit unto eternal life. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

You have promised that not one effort for you is ever in vain, (1 Cor.15:58), and so we come to You in confidence, praying for the intervention of Your mighty Spirit in "Sally."

May the joy of the Lord be her strength, is my prayer in Jesus' name.

The following prayer was sent to me email. I have not verified it was given, but thought all would appreciate the truth.

Prayer given in Kansas at the opening session of their Senate. It seems prayer still upsets
some people. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas
Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says, Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done....We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values....We confess that. We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism....We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery....We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare....We have killed our unborn and called it choice...We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable....We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem....We have abused power and called it politics....We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition....We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it
freedom of expression....We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers   and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free...Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent: to direct us to the center of Your will and to openly ask these things in the name of Your Son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen!"

Thank the Lord that this man had the courage to be honest in praying. May the Spirit of God uphold this man in his insights to work upon these words for further witnessing in conversation to wrongs that need to get righted.

May the Lord work on the minds of the listeners in that past Kansas Session opening not to forget that prayer but to seek to respond with proper representation in Congress for witness to the Right way of righteousness.

And of course may the men in that senate group be able to respond to hearing the gospel preached to them through some media before they bite the dust from  a 'coronary'.

The prayer quoted above is what I term an outstanding example of true, from the heart, intercessory prayer. I especially like the way the minister began his prayer by first of all asking for forgiveness of sins. I too believe it is the FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS in our prayers to ask God to forgive us of our sins before we proceed. I am also impressed with the boldness and courage this individual demonstrated by CALLING SIN BY ITS RIGHT NAME without regard for attempting to win the praise and adoration of men.

There is a lesson to be learned from this prayer by us all as we continue to stand or kneel in God's Presence--from the desk or in private--and offer prayers for ourselves and for others.

A special handshake of recognition to one of the participating writers on TRO who just two months ago (sorry I didn't notice sooner) was ordained to the SDA ministry....Larry Kirkpatrick.  A write up of the ceremony is to be viewed at :
http://www.greatcontroversy.org/reportandreview/kir-ordination.html

Prayer :
Our dear Father God in heaven, I approach you with a request.

Because of the dangers from the Evil one wanting to tear apart men willing to be open and true to Your principles, I ask for a special amount of wisdom to accompany this brothers ministry.

Please endow him with the sensibilities to remain humble in approaching your throne but firm in faith when asking for Your will to be done in his life.

Give this brother, please, the sensitivity of discernment between good and evil and a good portion of Grace from you to choose the good. Hedge him in with a spiritual plexiglass faith war-shield against the stones of the enemies so his soul will be saved in the end.

Encourage him to cast all his cares upon you and bask in the loving care You have for him. Up lift the ones who come in contact his ministry that he will be the channel of your chastisements and blessings.

And to all may Jesus be glorified and the SDA church not be maligned because of his faithfulness of living and preaching in truth.

In the name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus I pray,
amen.

Heavenly Father, we pray for all of those who have lost family and friends in the terrorist attacks in the United States. We pray for those that may be trapped in the wreckage of the World Trade Center. We pray for the leaders that have responsibility for dealings with the situation. Much wisdom is needed. We know that the end is near, but we pray that the winds of strife will be held back until your people have given the last message of mercy to a world soon to perish. Forgive us for not having done so many years ago. Help us to redeem the time. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Father in heaven,
We as a group of your children have taken on this art of talking with one another in the Internet by supporting this TRO forum. We get very discouraged when the hardware isn't working rightly or when unknown gremlin-like activities take place in the net of software we are reliant on.

We hurt to see how the attacks on the system is stymeing our outreach one to another. You are sovereign over the whole works. We need your assistance and work to get Richard and Clive up and going without worries on their PC's. Please supply the right persons and monies to help them fulfill their volunteer commitments.

May your healing work on TRO among the readers not be hindered. May your workers be equipted with right functioning computers to serve as You see fit.

Thy will be done.

Dear Lord:

Thank you for my life. Thank you for the fellowship of TRO. Thank you for the opportunity to share our love and feel the power of your grace in our lives.

Please protect us here at TRO. Help those in need to get their computers up and running so that we can reach all those souls longing for peace of heart and mind.

Thank you for taking care of Joan on that highway. We love and need her to help us in the work. Her fellowship is a blessing for our lives.

Be with Richard and Clive. Let them not feel discouraged, but know that we are all praying for their computers to be up and running and we ask that they have a blessed Sabbath.

We thank you for this fellowship and the love that is given to us through you in our lives. What a blessing it is to share our thoughts and beliefs with each other.

Where there are differences, let the power of your Word come to our hearts and give us peace. We see the forces starting to take place in the world and prophecies coming to life before our eyes.

Let not these things discourage us, but lift us up and draw closer to you.

We thank you for all the blessings and look to you for all the answers to our needs.

Please be with those in power and that in their minds give them the wisdom to do right.

In Jesus name I give praise. Amen

Liane

Post by: Joan on October 05, 2001, 03:38:00 AM

May the holy Almighty God, who is one, be praised !

We are your creatures, given life by the power of your breath. You are the beginning and end of all life. Our worship goes out of our hearts to you. We are in awe as to how you act as the keeper of your creation. Thank you for being the provider of our human needs. We trust you because of having experienced that you are the manager of all that you have put into existance with your unlimited creative architectual plans.

With awe we try to comphrehend that you were never created, that you always were and always will be. The mystery of eternity in unfathomable for us. The mystery of you being unmoveable, unchangable and undefeateable is causing us to bow our whole being in worship before your presence.

The beauty of the Love with which you love us has done so much in regenerating that which caused us to be degenerated. We have been bruised by the interaction of this world's ways. You have brought us healing. You have eased the pain by bringing into our lives instruments of righteousness in persons, in print, or words or deeds. We have experienced rejection and even persecution for our beliefs. You have brought us comfort  as we dwelt on the bible words telling us of the coming rewards of being in the presence of the Jesus. He to whom we owe our convictions. You have brought us to life through the miracle of the new-birth in Christ. We live now in freedom as the word is understood by you. Freedom not to sin. Freedom to be as you planned for us to be. God be thanked and praised for this !

It is the peace you give which passes all understanding for which I want to thank you for now. It is understandable only by those who experience it. It is the presence of your being in our innermost souls. The substance of hope being an assurety within us that though we do not see by sight our faith fears not. Thank you for the promises given us throught the prophets that while we go through the confusion, attacks, pain and loss we still will be the winners at the end.

This New Age has brought much to fear and worry about. We are casting our anxieties on you because you care about us. Your light will give us needed knowledge, your guidance will give us needed wisdom. Your Character being formed to maturity in us will give us the right attitude as well as the right way of dealing with others in goodness, kindness and gentleness. We are asking for you to come to us in your being....come to us in your holy righteousness, that we be right as you want us to be right.

Give us please the spirit of humble repentance. Touch us with insight to our present condition. When we are unclean in some area please accept our moment of recognition and turning to you for cleansing. You mind is on us each and every moment. Forgive us for turning our minds from thinking of you each and every moment for the lusts of the secular world. Cleanse us with the efficacious blood of Jesus Christ your Son.

Some of us have lost our first love even though we are still hanging on with faithfulness. Renew a right spirit within in us, please. Let the joy of our Salvation be renewed as well.  Help us please, to see that your burden that we carry is made light by your sharing in this burden.  Despite all the rough ways many of us go through you still are giving us an abundant life where swift wonderful living water quenches our souls thirsting.

I pray here with heartfelt longing for all of us who are running ahead of you and who try to manage the show without your permission. Please give those of us who so act chastizement so we learn where are place is in following you and your instructions.

For the glory of Christ and in the power of His name I pray....amen.

Title: Prayers
Post by: Joan on October 27, 2001, 04:34:00 AM

Almighty Father in heaven, hear my prayer please as I now wish to pray in intercession for my brethren. For Christ's sake.

Our Saviour Jesus was so perfect that he yielded not even b y 'thoughts' to the power of temptation. Never and nowhere could Satan accuse him and thus gain the victory. As weak as I am I pray for us believers here, to You my God,  to come to that same conditional state of being. Equipt us to come to such a state of keeping Your commandments that no sin be found in us so Satan could use us to his advantage.

We true Adventi believers are approaching the time of trouble. We need this condition of total commitment in body and soul to be found in us. I pray that you work a work of grace that we receive from You by faith such a condition. We want to unite our weakness to your strength. Our unworthiness please cover with the merits of Christ. Let our ignorance be turned away for the wisdom that comes from above.

You taught us in 1Cor13 that agapč love is patient,  kind,  not irritable,  not easy to offend,  not jealous,  not boastful,  not insisting on its own way,  not rude,  is not resentful,  is not gleeful at wrongs of others, and agapč never ends. Many of us are missing these points in our lives in a consistant way. Heal us, cleanse us, make us right so that these items will be a very real part of our Character.

Please hear my prayer as I ask you to mold in us the trait of agapč love so we will be able to bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things for your Kingdom and your glory sake.

Amen.

"Father in Heaven, in the name of your only begotten Son,  I, Joan, approach you in His merits to pray for my brethern. We, your born a-new children, have responded to your call, committed our lives to you, and are living in the blessings of santification thinking often on the promise of our glorification.

I ask you to renew in us a spirit of patience and willingness to keep on carrying our designated cross as we follow you. I pray that the love we have for one another will be a fragrance pleasing to your nostrils. Promote in us a character of humble, diligent, and  faithful willingness in any toil we have to labor at.

We know that the work of your santification in us is not for a moment, or accomplished in a day. We see it is your wanting us to die daily to sin while living each day commited a-new to Christ. Help us to remain consistant and that we won't give in to moods or feelings of wanting to give up or loose our tempers. We walk in faith in You that you do not leave us unprotected when we call upon your wisdom, stength and guidance to our present problems and needs.

Praise out of our hearts goes to you, and our love is reaching out to you...please be merciful to us.

My praise goes out to your my God, because of your giving me a sense of comfort at being able to approach you. You only begotten Son Yeshuah our Christ has made this possible. My heart is full of thankfulness because of this.

When thinking of you in the quiet moments while looking at all those wonderful huge trees around where I live, I have a sense of excitement for how wonderful you are in your creative ways. There are times of silence when I stand before you not knowing how to put into words just how full of reverence I am for you. I want to offer you the intelligent, worthy homage you deserve of my deepest devotion. I fail so often to do so properly. Please forgive me and help me move on into a deeper commitment of letting loose those bits of fearful caution by not knowing if I am being fully accepted. Cleanse away from me uncertainies and small worries that hinder my completely relaxing into your Grace.

May I and my brethern here be helped with divine inspiration of insight to discern which man-instigated religious traditions are hindering our rightful fellowshipping with you in honor. Please cleanse away the chaff of non-useful items in our lives. And let your joy fill our service to you out of the enthusiasim we have because of the big bubble of hope swelling up in us that your coming is closer than ever before to take us home where we belong.

We love you and want to rightly worship you. May the Holiness of your Spirit so lead us as you see fit.

Psalm 25:20-21
"Oh, keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You."

Good morning Jesus..... Your goodness is there all around us. We are seeing it in the many advantages of life we live with. We give you all the glory and honor for the achievements, happenings, material benefits  and accomplishments we are living in. We are learning not to fear the hard things in life for your will is working still even through the hard times to make us a better person. What is so exciting is the wonderful thought that you are just a heart's whisper of crying out away from all and everything we experience.

O, Lord, use us as Your instrument today, teach me Your ways in love and compassion. Remind us to forgive those that have hurt us. Let your light shine in us here on TRO, allowing us to point the way to You. Let your children who are in contact with this forum bask today in your sweet love. Dear Heavenly Father, I pray to you for my other believers here, for those unspoken requests in the situations you know about. We want our faith toward you be be calm and steady as we mentally dwell on the promises that we trust in about your allowing all circumstances to be for our good because we trust in you. I trust and believe that whatever you say will come to pass. I wait upon your grace to work in the lives of those needing your comfort at this moment. Also I ask for your Spiritual intervention in the lives of those here who are under tension because of a heavy workload. I pray for them to receive moments  soon of refreshing relaxation and enjoyment. And please allow the healing to come to those who are now really from the heart in faith towards you are praying for such bodily healing either for themselves or for a loved one.

Your Words says that they that wait upon the Lord "shall" renew their strength, they "shall" mount on wing as eagles ..."  I trust you Lord and I depend totally on you, not on man who continues to fail me, but on you Lord.  You are our strength and our redeemer.  I love you Lord and I thank God for your son Jesus Christ who died for my sins and those here who also know it personally. You have given us a new and more abundant life !  I sincerely prayer for all those who may read this prayer that You hear not only my prayer but theirs as well.

At this present time we turn away from the conflict we are personally experiencing. We look deeply into your kind loving eyes and see that all things are possible to them who believe. The situation that seems to be getting us down is being very slowly resolved as a result of direct prayer and our God's strength, not by our might or shinanigins.

May you please, precious Lord, give me a spirit of joy in the midst of the worst of it. I pray for those who are really in the lowest ebb of the flood waters seeming to drown them that they will see the way of escape. May the way of escape be paved with the stones of bright praise to you. Stepping stones of thanksgiving lifted up to your heavenly courts.

Praise Him, He is faithful!!
Amen.

Post by: Joan on December 16, 2001, 06:28:00 AM

In the name of Jesus our Christ,  your holy only begotten Son, I pray to God the father in heaven. Happiness floods my heart for the forgiveness I have received by confessing my sin. Thank you for your Blood, Jesus, that cleanses me from all unrighteousness.

For my brethern here I now also pray with lots of real love out of my heart for them. As you do Jesus, I yearn too for them to not to be abused by Satan. I plead for you actively protecting them from great harm. Allow that they go about their duties in the light of your presence. Incline your ear to their prayers of need. And give them your peace of assurance they are indeed fulfilling your will.

You have called us to a ministry for the sake of upholding the way of teachings that you approve of. Your intent was to choose the foolish and weak of us, your children, to confound the elements of this world's peoples who operate in the strength of their might. For us to bring down to nothing elements that are tantamount to idol worship. But we who are despised for our looks , convictions or status have been chosen by You to bring earthly powers down to the level of nothingness so that the boaster's mouths will be stuffed and they will not dare anymore to glory of themselves in your presence.

Agreed, we are indeed earthly vessels with all the cracks and crevices of human character showing imperfections. But our hope and faith is that the excellency of your power in glory will be manifested through us so all praise goes to you. I pray that the spirit and power of Elijah be emulated through the men leading on this Remnant Forum. Please let the vision of victory coming soon be their portion for nourishment. If some should have moments of running from their personal Jazebel threating them, send them their angel to tell them the dogs will be soon eating up their enemies.

We wait in expectation for your will to be done.
Amen

Holy and blessed, are you our God and Father, who has accepted us as your children through your Son and our Lord Jesus Christ. We daily rejoice in this precious priviledge we have been given by your grace, to live in a lively hope of being resurrected when Jesus comes again. We are kept by your power through our faith towards you for this salvation you offer us. Please, may the circumstances allow you to send your Son again back to earth soon.
There are alot of us here in heavy various temptations and trials. I wish to pray for such brethern which are being attacked in any such way. Please help them to rejoice in these trials for your honor sake knowing that they will become more precious in character having been tried by the fire to have the dross of wrongness in their lives burnt out and the precious metal of faith refined and strengthened.
Give my brethern the heavenly wisdom to cope in their situations so that their minds will be sober in thinking and not lax in understanding of the wider scope of their problems. Please help us all to look more objectively at our selfs to identify where we are the source of our own prolem makings when such is the case, and please help us reach the point of humility to confess our weakness and allow your Spirit to work a work of healing in our twisted thinking or personality that we beging to react or think more according to your good judgements.
We want to honor you in Name among the ones we have to deal with. Speak to us in our hearts as to how we are to be obedient children and that we not anymore form ourselves according to the wrong learned habits of behavior patterns or lusts before we were converted to your new creature that you are making of us.
You have and are still calling us to be holy but it sure seems strange for us to so act  holy at times. Please take that strangeness away, as well as the fear of what other people think about us, so that we can be holy in all manner of actions or words in our way of living.
Glory be to Jesus Christ because it is in Your name I pray to the Father,
Amen.

It has been a blessing through the years to have brothers and sisters praying for me and my children. I know there are those that do so faithfully and it means much to me. Let me share one such instance.

In 1991, the year after the iron curtain fell in Romania, I was blessed to be able to visit there and preach in some of our churches in various parts of the country. After preaching an evening service in Bucharest, I had some requests to visit and pray for some of the sick. I did and one of them was a young Seventh-day Adventist lady, Viorika. I shared with her a short testimony of how God had been leading me and some of the great trials I had in dealing with the salvation of my children that had been estranged from me. I prayed with her and for her soul, and if it would glorify God and work to her salvation and those she loved, that God would heal her. She had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and was in a great deal of pain.

I left Bucharest the next day and traveled throughout the country returning the next week. She had died. Her funeral was the next day and afterwards a young lady approached me and told me Viorika's last words were to her and she had asked her to make a promise. Viorika asked her friend to promise to continue praying for my children after she died. This meant a lot to me. I knew my prayer for Viorika's soul had been answered. Self was dead and her thoughts were for others. I cherish the thought that her friend continues to pray for my children.

There is more to the story I will share at another time.

In His love and grace,   Richard

Father in heaven your power is unlimited, and at this time bless my wifes father who is now in hospital recovering from a major operation for cancer. Be with and guide the family in New Guinea as he is with us at this time. Your name will be honoured what ever happens with him, Amen.

I am not inclined often to ask others to pray for me and my wife; I have studied prayer and I am reforming my ideas upon it.
However, after reading this topic, I feel urged to ask you here to merge your requests to the Master with ours.

Next week we fly to Taiwan for further studies in apitherapy (bee medicine for people). It is an expensive trip, even more so since we are a self-supporting project here. This is the door for our continued stay in the field if we successfully pass the exams. My wife will have her first venom applications there for her MS, also.
We have confirmations that this is His specific orders for us; we are not questioning Him. We are asking for the Family's prayers for:
1. My wife's ear infection to be healed before we fly.
2. That our minds will be sharp enough to learn this complex medical practice from Chinese and Romanian teachers.
3. That costs can be cut or the way opened to afford all that needs to be done.
4. That our devotional life will not be compromised while amongst so many of the lost.
5. That we continue to hear His voice and follow closely.

Thanks to all that will lift us up while there!

Heavenly Father, you have heard our brother's prayers and you have answered them in the best possible way. We join with Brother Ben in asking for wisdom that he and his wife may give honor and glory to you in all they do. you have promised wisdom if we would ask,  and this we do for our friend.

We thank you for the light in the area of health and pray that this light will be a blessing for Brother Ben and his wife. Thank you for the faithful Seventh-day Adventist physicians that have walked in that light and may they be of help to our brother and sister, we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Our Saviour, we love you and are here in a family situation. You believing son of faith Ben, is here in need. I ask of you in faith to arrange the money matter so that their stay in the training center will be rightly covered as well as the expenses for their trip to Twaiwan.

May the treatment his wife receives strengthen her myelin around her nervous system. I pray for a positive regeneration growth there by your healing powers. You love her and have led her this far in knowledge of natural treatment. I pray that you will reward their faith in you. I pray for Ben and his wife to be counted worthy of their calling when fulfilling their tasks that you have shown they are to do. I pray that you dear God will fulfill all your good pleasures in their lives according to your grace and power working in them. I ask you to keep on the work of grace for them in their studies that they may be then a blessing to the missionary work you have called them to.

Your will be done, I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ,
amen

He is swift to honor faith!
An earnest of our prayers was given today; I went downtown (there is only one 'town' in this sweet country) to exchange Brunien currency for Taiwanese. Nobody deals in Taiwanese money! Tiny countries like to deal in big countries money, but it costs the customer a percentage to have it exchnaged, usually 3 to 5%...I went to 3 moneychangers (never change money at banks! very costly)
same story...but the Master lead me to one I had never used before. As soon as the Chinese lady spoke to me, I sensed her heart of kindness...she informed me that so few Taiwanese visit Brunei, and since you can use US money there (for a %!) that no one bothered stocking it. Besides the banks in Taiwan are in chaos now AND the government has reissued new notes and confusion is boiling with all the moneychangers on what to do with old ones!
Then she remembered her friend had some new notes! She called...and what do you know? She had all the amount we needed with only one note left over...She was so glad to get rid of them that we got it all for .25%
Now that is a miracle!

My wife was very moved by your prayers...choked up actually! She is saving the print out to read over and over.

Thank You so much.

Jesus, your kindness was reached through a stranger to Ben. We all smile to you in loving gratitude for this small token of caring about their situation. We are in trusting expectation for more of what is coming for him on this trip for a money miracle you are providing for. We are trusting you for the 'windfall' of a special
type and want to rejoice in you for your plan in Ben and wife's life situation.

Praise be to you, for your will to be done,
amen.

Dear Brethren:

Please pray for my friend Stephanie. At first the doctors thought she might have meningitis and it took three times to get a spinal tap for fluids, poor thing.

Now it is not meningitis. They believe she has contracted some virus, but they do not know what, so she is still in ICU and in isolation.

She is searching for truth and has become a friend to me through the training of my Moshe for service dog work.

She does not trust people very much and loves animals greatly and does rescue work for dogs that find themselves in the shelter.

Please pray that the Lord will work in her heart to know that people can be trusted as she opens up to the Word of God.

Thank you,

Liane

Prayer for Michelle's friend...

Jesu my Redeemer, I praise you for the events in my life that brought me from one plateau of spiritual bible knowledge to the next. In the fullness of time you arranged events in my life to want to accept you as my Savior.  I praise you for the year that came which then later brought me to want to commit myself to fully worshipping you rightly by honoring the Sabbath Saturday. Here now I pray for this girl Michelle knows who has been listening to the truth about these items. Please speak through your grace to her heart to want to accept the right way of living the Christian life according to your laws and will. May you influence the circumstances to take peace from her heart that is self instigated so that she will seek the peace from you only that is given when she is obedient to the voice of your Spirit telling her truth she needs to accept.

We all want to claim confidence in the good work you have begun in her that it will continue to be preformed until the coming of Jesus soon. I pray that this girl will be given the right spirit of discernment to approve the things you are offering her is that which is of excellence.  I pray that she will be sincere in seeking you out to commit her life into your hands. May you equip her then with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ for praise, and glory that belongs to you, our God.  Our real earnest expectation is to see the miracle of new birth accomplish a deep change of course in her life.  We as you to so strengthen her after her cleansing with the Spirit that she be not ashamed to go the way of conviction with boldness.  May her decision to accept Jesus’ full will for her be that she join our Remnant group for to magnify Christ as Lord of her worship day as well as Lord of her life.

I pray in belief to you, Jesus my Lord,
Amen.

Father please be with Josie and her father as they travel back to P.N.G. May they both sense your presence as they go home. When Josie gives her sister our letter may your Holy Spirit open her sister heart to the pleadings we are making for her to return to the Lord and bring Margaret back to your home so when at the Second Coming we may all be there either raised at the resurrection or being alive to look up and say "lo this is our God we have waited for him and He will save us".
Amen.

I have just received word that Sister Flo passed away this morning Friday at 2.00 am our time.

Her only aim in life has been to see her husband and son turn to the Lord. Everything that she did she had this in mind. I hope and pray in death they will want to see ehr again and come to a knowledge of God's saving grace.

Flo was a person who could not keep her faith to herself and one of her visitors yesterday told of how she is going back to Church after meeting Flo some years ago and it was only because of her constant encouragement that she came back. She will have stars in her crown!

Thanks for your prayers they were appreciated and are still needed for Ray and Paul.

Could we pray for Sister Dethick of Harrisville, Queensland Australia. I had this impression to call in and see her today. We were on the way to town and it is not too far out of our way to visit her. We took up some flowers and thought to cheer her up as she is 87 years of age. We found hewr very sick and discouraged by it all. She is aa lovely Christian women and would appreciate any prayers offered on her behalf.
We all call Grandma Dethick. The kids love her and she loves them. When Sonny went to Avondale on the last Sabbath at Church she came and pressed into his hand a $50 note. When she gave it there would be very little left over for her. That is the type of person she is.
Clive

Father in heaven our hearts go out to Grandma at this time as she is so sick, bless her and comfort her so that she will be ale to continue to serve you and the needy in her own way at Harrisville. Bless her family as well and may each trust in you what ever happens, in Jesus name, Amen.

Hi Richard:

Please add to the names the following.

Kim, my friend I met through Moshe who I am witnessing to.
There are six inmates that I am writing to.I have sent out two Great Controversy books to two of my inmates this week, Stephen & Danny that are not SDA's. My other inmate non SDA Willie cannot get books right now as he is in the hole. When he gets out of there next year I will send the book to him as well. Please pray that the Lord will work on his heart to know Jesus better.

I have three other inmates, David, Ronald and Michael all are SDA's and struggling in a hard world that have learned of the wonderful teachings of our faith.
Please include in prayer my friends Nani &
John and Nai who have been offered jobs at Uchee Pines and that they make a right choice as they are not sure what to do. Our prayers are needed to help them to get settled in their minds that time is short and they need to work for Jesus no matter where, but something.

Let us also include in our prayer list The Remnant Online forum, the administrator, moderators and members who love Jesus.

I belong to a small poor country type SDA church. We have been blessed these last few years with a lot of children again. We have a school that has been used for a Dorcus. But the Church is wanting to start up the school again. (there is another building the Dorcus can go to)But we don't have the money to pay a teacher and the parents don't have money for tuision. But we believe that God, who has money in all sorts of places, can come to our aid in getting our children out of the public schools. Please pray that we can have the school working again. Thank you.

Amen Dear Father in heaven. We often have a hard time understanding why things happen. And as bad as war is we know Lord, that YOUR HAND is on the helm. You are the one steering the boat of earth’s journey. Man would like to be the leader, but you Lord, are the only one who can ever do that. How grateful we are for this Lord. How we thank you that we can have faith in you regardless of what happens. I pray that good will come from this in that the Truth can come flooding through to these people about your love and the Love of your dear Son Jesus for them. Please open the doors for the gospel to flow to their hearts. I pray this in Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

Dear Father:

Though we are in the mist of a sad war and people are dying on both sides, please be with all during this difficult time. Let us pray the outcome will be for the better of all.

During these times life still goes on in our little world around us. There is a dog named Amber a Basenji/Lab mix that will be taken to meet a family. Let us pray that this new home works out for Amber as her life has been from abandonment, shelters, foster homes and now we pray an adopted home for her.

We thank you Lord for helping us keep her safe and alive until we can find her this home.

Post by: Richard Myers on August 23, 2003, 08:25:00 AM
Brittany needs our prayers. She is a young lady who just lost her mother and wants to go to heaven quickly.

Heavenly Father, we ask in the precious name of Jesus that you draw close to our little sister. Comfort her in her loss and bring opportunities to her that she might realize your presence. Bless those who have opportunity to minister to her. Give them wisdom and grace to understand what they can do and power to do it. Thank you, Dear Lord for hearing our prayers for Brittany. We want to hasten your soon coming so that Brittany and we may see you face to face, amen.

Dear Lord at this time be with the family of Dr Dugald, comfort them and keep them in your arms so that they will know you are there. We do not know why the time has come for him to lay down his life but we do trust you. Amen.

Dear Father,
Please comfort our brothers family and let them know that all will be well. That You are with them and will never forsake them. Let them, moment by moment, look forward to the promise that they will see him again, and in that day they will never have to say goodbye again. Please comfort us too dear Lord. We are in pain over our dear brothers death also. Please give us all the faith we need to walk on in total trust in You dear Father in Heaven. I pray in Jesus Holy name and for His Sake, Amen.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, you know the sorrow and pain that many are experiencing today because of our Dr. Dugald's death. We ask that you help us all to look beyond the things we can see to the reality. Dr. Dugald is at rest. His family loves you and you have promised to provide for all of their needs. We come before your throne asking that you draw close to his wife and daughters. Comfort them as only you can. Bring your children into their lives to comfort and bless in their great time of need. Thank you for the opportunity to work with our dear brother. We pray that you will water the seeds that Dr. Dugald planted. May a rich harvest come forth from his unselfish labor. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I have spent much time reading posts in many parts of TRO, but the Prayers and the Urgent Prayer Forums fill my heart with such saddness. There are so many that need our prayers....

I am writing this to ask you all to please pray for my grandson who will turn 9 in ten more days and the older he gets the more he is filled with such saddness it is almost unbearable for me to watch this child suffer so.  His mother left him when he was almost 2.  He loves her so much, that to date his words are all so negative.  He wants to die with his mother when she dies.  Why would a child talk like this?   My son who lives a few hundred feet from my house is so busy all the tme...rushing through life like there is no tomorrow. And my grandson Jordy feels this, although he loves his daddy oh so much, but is in fear all the time, thinking his daddy will also leave him.  His mother comes to see him when she feels like...It could be a few weeks, or many months and he aches for her.    Where and why would a child  express such negative  statements as, "I want to die"? It is heart-breaking.   Please, pray for Jordy.  I have been fairly strict with him, but my love is so great, and I want him in heaven.

I pray to You, my heavenly Father, in thanksgiving  for giving us Jordy.  But Lord I give him back to you to protect and guide him, to give him peace in his heart, give him more thoughts about Jesus, heal all his wounds.  Help him to come closer to you so he has joy in his heart and not the saddness that Satan has given him.  Thank you  Lord....I pray this in Jesus name.  Amen

Hi Sister Ele:

Thank you for sharing your need for prayers for your grandson Jordy.

I suspect your grandson is a very sensitive person a gentle soul that is very deep for his young age.

Just keep loving and reaching out to him and it will help him greatly. Keep teaching him of Jesus and he will learn.

For your family all of you are in my prayers. May the Lord bless and keep you and thank you for being such a part of our family here.

Liane

Dear Father in Heaven,

We bring before you Jordy. This young boy is so insecure and needs something to fill his soul, his whole being, so he is not so empty inside. He sees nothing good in life and wants to die. So young Lord, and he wants to die. Please help this soul of yours. We are giving him to You, to heal, to help, to comfort and to teach in Your time and way. We pray for his Grandma Ele. Heal also, her breaking heart for her grandson. Give her the words and the ideas that will help her to help Jordy. Please save him and his daddy and mom in they kindom. Help these people of thine to grasp what is important in life and come to Thee. I ask all this in the Name of Thy Son, and also that it will bring glory to Jesus. Amen

Dearest Sisters Marie and Liane, First I want to wish you both a very Holy and Happy Sabbath.   Thank you so very much for your prayers.  I, just now, told my son he must give Jordy one day a week, alone, not with his girlfriend or her family, but alone...  Take him to lunch, take him to the beach, take him to the park,  I pray this time he will listen.

Dearest heavenly Father, thank you so much for this beautiful Sabbath day and the inspiration I received from Dwight Nelson's wonderful health sermon.  It sure had power.

My missionary work here needs much prayer. Lord, please help our church Monday, to be able to get land from my friends, the Ejidos, please have them find us a large enough piece  to build a school and a church on. We need it desperatley for children like Jordy etc... I also pray again and again for my Jordy.  Give him another angel Lord with large wings to protect him from Satan and this ugly world.  Please give him Jesus, and take away his nintendo, his hours of TV, which is all he does in his home.  Guide him to the narrow road that will take him to heaven.  Thank you my Father....I pray this in Jesus name....Amen

I'm not sure where you are to place your prayer requests.  This is partly a prayer request and maybe just an opportunity for me to vent, too!  I just need to reach out to someone.  I'm so frustrated. The moderator may wish to place this under some other heading.  I'm substitute teaching for a teacher/principal on sick leave in one of our SDA Elem. Church schools.  I'm been doing this for over 6 months. I am so sad with the behavior of the children.  I have been trying every method possible to reach these children and I have years of experience but it just seems like I'm not making any progress. Their disrespect and "gang-like mentality" is surprising since it is basically a small-town country school. When I speak to a child perhaps for disrupting class when I'm trying to give them instructions, another child will speak up and say "they didn't do anything wrong, they have rights to free speech whenever they want, etc.."  So goes the day.  There are some parents that I can call if I have a problem but other parents are as disrespectful as their child, they basically don't believe their child would ever say or do such a thing. The school  does not have a discipline procedure in place because the principal said that the firm approach didn't work in the past and the school board is afraid to write out a procedure because they might be sued.  Verbal warnings is basically all we can do.  Places where I've worked in the past, if a student caused a problem you would give them a verbal warning, if it happened again you stated the problem back to them and wrote their name on the board, the third time they caused a problem, you stated the problem to them, pointed out that their name was on the board and that the next step was a trip to the principal's office and a detention or in-house suspension would occur.  After a few times the students knew what the consequence would be and the classroom behavior would improve.  Of course, I always try any approach with a Christian perspective pointing out applicable scriptures and have prayer with the student.  Yesterday, I blew it!  I was administering a test for another teacher and several students kept talking after they were given their test, even trying to cheat and share answers.  I had to speak to one student 7 times and then I moved him to the table I was working at.  In over 40 minutes the child answered 4 multiple choice questions and it was like pulling teeth to get him to focus and be quiet long enough to get those done.  I knew it was all a game to him, a battle of wills in a way.  I didn't want to get pulled in but I also believe that my authority should not be challenged like this.  I stated to him that in other places that I had worked if a student continued to talk during a test the test was taken away and a failing grade was scored.  He challenged me three more times in a very defiant manner so I took the test away and ripped it up.  As soon as I had done this I knew I was probably in the "hot seat" because the principal would probably not support me in this decision. I then stated to the child that if he was ready to take the test quietly he could do so in another room by himself.  He again balked that he had done nothing wrong and he shouldn't have to be taken out of the classroom.  I took him to the other room and left him.  I felt sick, sad, and totally stressed out.  I'm just so frustrated and then I condemn myself for not maintaining my composure.  On the other hand, how much is expected of us as Christian teachers to take from students.  Are we to take this abuse without insisting on compliance?  I just keep asking myself "what would Jesus do"?  I'm not sure but doesn't this type of situation call for justified righteous anger?  I'm reminded of the story of Elisha being mocked and judgment falling on the boys with the bears.  Why have our schools gotten to such a state of affairs?  I come in contact with many teachers and they all share common stories of how hard it is to teach in today's schools.  I realize it is all a sign of the times, and that Satan is working overtime to destroy anything we attempt to build up in Jesus' name.  I just cry out for your prayers for my situation and Christian school teachers everywhere.  (I'm off today because I just tested positive for strep throat.  That gives me time to regroup and pray.)  I just feel so alone in this battle and I need your prayers to overcome this discouragement.

Dear Sister Kan Ann, my heart reaches out to you in your sorrow in this situation. It makes me think back to my days in our schools and they were so different. Satan is indeed working overtime now days. I do feel your school's head is wrong. That all schools need set ways to do things and if it don't go that way they must not be afraid to do what they say they will do, whether sued or not. It is a sad thing that we live in a time we have to have that hanging over our heads when we want to help these children so much. But if he don't have the guts to have standards then there is not reason to have the school. God's ways can't be taught when there is not respect for those teaching. I don't have the answers either. I hope someone can give you some help on it. I have never been a teacher except to my own children as a mother. But I can pray for you dear sister and pray God can help you at least for the time that you are there. The whole school needs to change it sounds like. I feel like crying when I think of how things are going in many places. Oh how I hope Jesus comes soon. The world is just going under it seems.

Know that we care sister Kay Ann and we will indeed be praying for you and for the children and the school. Thank you for letting us know about this so we can pray for them. May God bless you for caring to stay in a situation like that so long. Many would have given up long ago.

Dear Kay Ann,

First, I would like to welcome you to our Forum.  I pray you will get as much inspiration,  peace, and joy in your heart as I have, since I joined this family of God's people.

First, let's talk to our Friend:    "Dear Lord, help Kay Ann to remember that nothing is going to happen to her today that You and her together can't handle."

You have many questions, Kay Ann, but only God has the answers, and He is coming soon.  Put your whole self into His keeping.  Give Him all your problems not daily, not hourly, but moment by moment.  Claim His promises. Remember, you are Royalty, you are a daughter of the King, and He loves you so very much.  Satan is seeing how far he can go with you, don't, please don't get discouraged. Put on that armour God has given you, Tell Him to give you the words needed to impress on the hearts of these young people His love.
God hates those sins, the youth commit, but he loves those sinners, and you must too.
But you cannot do it alone.  The Holy Spirit is there, ask Him for the strength, courage, peace needed to cope with your situation.

Let us pray.  My dearest Heavenly Father, You hear us Lord, You know Kay Ann's problem, You know she loves you but is so discouraged.  Please Lord, send her the Holy Spirit, to guide her every moment in words and actions.  Let them see you through her, Help her to be an example of your love. Help one of the leaders in the class to come forward and express there love of you. Calm down the class.  I pray this all in Jesus loving Name.

God be with you  and bless you  Kay Ann....Love in Jesus, Ele

Dear Heavenly Father, we are saddened by this request for prayer in that it reveals great pain and suffering that need not be. We rejoice that our dear sister has come asking for prayer. Bless her Father, that she might have more of your Spirit and wisdom. She has been given what appears to be an intolerable job. Help her to know what course to follow. We pray for the children; send your Holy Spirit to help them understand the need for obedience even though they may not be obedient at home or in other classroom situations. You know what needs to be done that our sister will have peace in the middle of the storm. Help her to stay close to Jesus, we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Kay Ann--I haven't been on the forum in a while and just saw your request/vent.  How are things going now?  I hope well.  I haven't taught for 5 years now, and probably won't again in this country because of what you're experiencing and more.  Our school, where my husband teaches, has experienced a lot of stress this year from parents, so I can sympathize with you wholeheartedly!  While I may teach again in another country, I don't think I can in this country again.   :(

Blessed Father:

Thank you for another day of sunlight and life. That we may enjoy the good things that you have given us. I praise Your Name because you are our creator God that loves us.

There is much pain in this world. Things happening that have taken the foundation from under us and we need to trust in Your Arms and go by faith that You are with us along the path that has been set before us.

Some of us have family problems that need to be worked on. Some of us are being forced to move and know not what or where we will be going. Some of us have medical problems that we need to trust that you will bring a healing and strength to endure.

So many things Father that satan uses to cause us trouble, but we know that You are with us every step of the way. No matter what satan may do we will always look up to You and believe.

Please forgive us our sins. Help us to be faithful to Your Word and follow Your ways. That our lives will be full of the many blessings of truth and love. That we may glorify Your Name before others and the true meaning of what being a child of God is.

The time of this world is closing. Help us to draw strength from You so that we can share the precious truths to a dying world. Give us the courage to go forth even when times are difficult that we can show the world that we trust and believe in You always.

Thank you Father for everything. For the fellowship of this forum. For friends we have made and share our love for You. For the knowledge and to learn and grow.

In Jesus Precious Name, Amen

Dear Kay Ann, and other prayer requesters,

It's been quite a long time since I have been a moderator in the prayer forum, but I can see there is still a great need.

Our Heavenly Father is still in the prayer answering business. My, what a mess this world is in! We wonder how it can keep getting so much worse. Surely Jesus is coming soon!!

Sister Kay, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Perhaps you and Job have something in common. I'm afraid I wouldn't last too long in a classroom, but probably headed to a mental hospital. I don't tolerate nonsense well, and I suspect you've had more than your share of it. I'm reminded, though, of Holy Writ which enables us to cling to Jesus when we need Him most.
Phi 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Matt.28:20 LP ... and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Isa 54:5-8  For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

And a strong favorite of mine:

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Courage Sister Kay! I can't give it, but God can. And since He is God and there is none else,(Isa 45:5) you are in business!!

Well, in regards to those who are afflicted with terminal diseases, our God is still in the healing business, because He is the Great Physician.

Dear Heavenly Father,
What an awesome God You are! Thank You for being our heavenly Father, and we can be Your children.
We come to You in the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ who tells us to come boldly before Your throne of grace (Heb.4:16). Surely, this is a time of great need!!
Father God, we are distressed by diseases that afflict not only "other" people, but "we" Your own people. Father God, please hear our prayers. Your Holy word says that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much(James 5:16). Well, Lord , we know that our righteousness is only filthy rags (Isa.64:6), but we recognize too that Jesus Christ Your Son is (1Co 1:30)made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

And even though we make walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You have promised that You are with us (Psalms 23:4).

Finally Heavenly Father, may we have the trust in You knowing that You know what is best for each one, and if "some of us" are laid to rest, may we have the assurance that we will awake in the right resurrection-the first one .
Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Father God , thank You for hearing this prayer, for we know that You hear all prayers, and You always have an answer. Give us the grace to accept Your will in our lives,
In Jesus Name and for His sake, Amen and Amen!

A Keeper of "the" Faith!
Brother Laurie

A good friend of mine, who is like a mother to me, is very ill.  She has been to many doctors of all types.  They have diagnosed her with everything from Lyme Disease, Fibromyalsia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and more.  She has digestive problems, depression and extreme paid because of her illness(es).  Please . . . brothers and sisters . . . pray for Joan Flynn.  She eats a stricktly vegan diet, tries to follow all the information she is given, and is a devout Seventh Day Adventist.  She needs our prayers today.  She is in such agony it breaks my heart to see her in such pain.  I ask that everyone please keep her in your prayers so that she may find the answers she needs to heal her body and return to her devotion to the church and friends with full capacity and energy.  I pray that she may find healing and guidance.  I thank you for all of your prayers.

But you dear Lord can heal or give grace and strength to walk the trial through. How you handle it we leave in Your hands and in Your time. Give this dear sister Total Trust in You at all times. Give her strength to not let go. I pray in Jesus name and for His Sake, Amen!

Welcome to TRO, Sister Dawn. We are sorry to hear about your dear friend. Jesus is coming soon and many are experiencing great trials. God allows them that we might be drawn closer to Him. Thank you for allowing us to join with you in prayer for Sister Joan.

Heavenly Father, we come to you with great sorrow as we think of Sister Joan. Her pain and suffering cause us to suffer with her. We pray that you will draw close to her and grant  her an extra measure of your Spirit. If there is anything that will keep her from receiving your blessings, please reveal to her what it is. If not, we pray that if it will be to your honor and glory and for her salvation that you would heal her of her sickness. We thank you for speaking through Sister Dawn and pray your blessing on her as she seeks to help Sister Joan. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please be with our family friend, Gerry, while he's in hospital.

He is going through a tough trial and he may not make it.  We hope that it is your will that he stays with us longer, but if it is not, we understand that.  We hope he can be with us in heaven when Jesus comes.

Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,

You have seen these requests and heard the prayers. You know the details and You love every one as only You can. We put them in Your hands Father to heal according to Your will. Please bring peace to them and their families. Thank you. I pray in Jesus Holy Name, Amen.

Blessed Father:

You know our needs better than we do. Please be close to Gerry and SA during this difficult time. May they draw comfort and faith being near You accepting Thy Will Be Done.

In Jesus Precious Name, Amen

Dear Brethern:

There is a young mother that I have met who is in much pain and has left the church. She is now going through a medical crisis and is in need of special prayer. Her name is Denise.

Please keep her in your prayers for her medical needs of very very high blood pressure and cholesterol. She is having reactions to the medications as well.

Dear Father:

We send up our prayers for Denise. Please let her know that she is not alone and has sisters and brothers in Christ that care for her and feel for her in her time of need.

We pray that she stays close to You during this time and that she knows that you still love her. Help her to find her way back home to the faith that has blessed so many of us.

In Jesus Precious Name, Amen

Liane, the Zoo Mama

Heavenly Father, we pray for those who are suffering in the world today. We especially want to pray for our Brother Cop who is in the path of the hurricane this morning. We know that your protection over the great cities of this world is being removed because of their wickedness. We pray for these judgments to awaken some to the impending crisis spoken of in Scripture. As it was in the days of Noah, so it is today. Soon the earth will be destroyed. There is still time for those who can be saved to reach out to Jesus. We pray for them in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

My Grandma ( Mable Coverson 94 y/o) came out of surgery for a broken hip and was able to be extubated and I praise God for that. Now she is in a lot of pain and she cries and screams when anyone does anything to her and it is heart breaking because she has a high tolerance for pain and if she is doing that it is bad. Please pray for God to heal the right hip where she had the surgery and that God will comfort her and make his presence felt with her. Also that God will be with her mind and she will recognize her family and know they are with her and wont let her be hurt by God's grace. The other problem she is not eating and her blood sugars are running low. Please pray that she will feel better and start eating and be more coherent.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the many answered prayers! We rejoice as we contemplate the ever so many times you have heard and answered our prayers. Today, I want to ask you to be with our churches around the world and especially with the nominating committees that have been elected and given the responsibility to suggest the leadership for the upcoming year in our churches. Such a responsibility! We ask for your Holy Spirit to move upon the hearts of these individuals that they will do your will and not their own. Where there are unconverted sitting on these committees, I ask you to hedge up their way and use your children to bring about a change in your churches. We ask forgiveness for our failure to do the work entrusted to us as a people. We cry over the misrepresentation we have made in your name. Forgive us oh merciful Father. We pray for reformation and revival in our church, let it begin with me and my family, I pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
