"Jesus is our example."
"There are many who dwell with interest upon the period of His public ministry, while they pass unnoticed the teaching of His early years."
"But it is in His home life that He is the pattern for all children and youth."
"The Saviour condescended to poverty, that He might teach how closely we in a humble lot may walk with God."
"He lived to please, honor, and glorify His Father in the common things of life."
"His work began in consecrating the lowly trade of the craftsmen who toil for their daily bread."
"He was doing God's service just as much when laboring at the carpenter's bench as when working miracles for the multitude."
What a " GREAT EXAMPLE " Jesus has given for all of us to follow. We, in our humanity have a tendency to give more Social and Religious status to a minister who has a Doctor of Divinity degree from some Prestigious Institution of "Higher Learning", than the Local Elder who's life also demonstrates that he has a close walk with Jesus and is "FILLED" by the power of the Holy Spirit. It would do all of us well to review the backgrounds of the men whom Jesus Called to Church Leadership before He returned to His Heavenly Father and by Anointing them with Holy Spirit Power which He offers to "ALL" who are willing.
We "ALL" need to be consecrated, Holy Spirit filled members of the Family of God because, God has a work for "ALL" of us to do for Him and He makes it possible "if" we are willing to be filled with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and be a living testimony of His Love and Grace to all Mankind. Are "WE" willing to Be " Active "Laboring Laborers in the vineyard of the Lord?
========================
Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,
Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;
Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves;
Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
2
Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;
By and by, the harvest and the labor ended,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
3
Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master,
Tho’, the loss sustained, our spirit often grieves;
When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.
