LaVerne Tucker at the Sunshine House in Calimesa on Sunday Feb. 18. He died of cancer and was 78 years old.

LaVerne Tucker graduated from Walla Walla college in Washington state and spent 50 years in the ministry for the Adventist church. His parents had started the 'Quiet Hour radio ministry in 1937 and he worked closely with them. They also added a Television program which LaVerne mostly handled.

He was a leader in the Adventist media, and we'll miss him very much.
