California's governer Gray Davis said that California's energy problems may be over in two months. He says there is still work to do but the roling blackout the state has experienced may not be a danger in 60 days.
Many feel that the states energy problems are due to state regulations that mades it difficult to build power plants. Also, the regulations that allowed power producers to sell their power at any level they wanted but forced power distributers to sell at a low price caused many power distributers to come close to bankrupcy.
