The Heathen and God's Creation.

This is one of God's most revealing actions on man's behalf...God is so Good. Advent Review and Sabbath Herald---DT- 09-20-98
Upon the Throne of His Glory

In the day of final reckoning, Christ does not present before men the great work he has done for them in giving his life for their redemption. He presents before them the faithful work they have done for him. What
surpassing love is this! He even mentions the work of the heathen, who have no intelligent knowledge of the law of the Lord, but who have done the very things the law required, because they have heeded the voice speaking
to them in the things of nature. When the Holy Spirit implants Christ's Spirit in the heart of the savage, and he befriends God's servants, the quickening of the heart's sympathy is contrary to his nature, contrary to his education. The grace of God, working upon the darkened mind, has softened the savage nature untaught by the wisdom of men. And these uneducated heathen, in all their cruelty, are regarded in a more favorable
light than are those who have had great light and evidence, but who have rejected the mercy and reproof of God.

Nature is truly 'God's Second Book'.

Counsels to Parents, Teachers, and Students
Teaching from Nature  -PG- 186
The most effective way to teach the heathen who know not God is through His works. In this way, far more readily than by any other method, they can be made to realize the difference between their idols, the works of their own hands, and the true God, the Maker of heaven and earth. . . . There is a simplicity and purity in these lessons direct from nature that makes of the highest value to others besides the heathen. The children and youth, all classes of students, need the lessons to be derived from this source. In itself the beauty of nature leads the soul away from sin and worldly attractions, and
toward purity, peace, and God."

God is good, He nothing to chance.

Last Day Events---PG- 218

Among the heathen are those who worship God ignorantly, those to whom the light is never brought by human instrumentality, yet they will not perish.                                          219
Though ignorant of the written law of God, they have heard His voice speaking to them in nature, and have done the things that the law required. Their works are evidence that the Holy Spirit has touched their hearts, and they are recognized as the children of God.

We serve a living saviour, that is compassionate, kind, good, just and LOVING.

Amen!  Thank you Sister Charlene for sharing these beautiful thoughts regarding nature. Where many today consider there is no way for the Catholic to be saved, or the Mormon, or the Jehova's Witness, we know that God will save the honest of heart even if they are a J.W. The requirement for salvation is a new heart, which is seen by walking in the light that one has.

Such a God! And such responsibility upon those who have been entrusted with the Sacred  Oracles of God.

In His love and grace,  Richard

Here is the Bible support for our discussion.  "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."  "For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves."  Romans 1:20, 2:14.

Thank you Charlene for pointing out God's love through nature. Truly He has ways to save souls that will be thrilling to see and talk to in the new earth. Friend John
