Elder Ted Wilson in San Francisco September

Elder Ted Wilson will be leading out in an evangelistic series in San Francisco in September 5-14  2024.  There will a city wide distribution of the Great Controversy. Subject for the program The Three Angels Message.




We had a permit to distribute The Great Controversy in San Francisco on Oct 21, 22 1989. Four days before a 6.9 earthquake hit San Francisco and Oakland. It was just a warning to both cities of what is to come. You can read more regarding  San Francisco/Oakland Quake Coming       Click Here






The new domestic partnership bill passed the Board of Supervisors
unanimously in May 1989 and was promptly signed by the mayor.'
Many conservatives were deeply dismayed. A group of clergy, Catholic
and conservative Protestant, and laypersons banded together and gathered
the signatures needed to place the ordinance on the ballot for the Novem-
ber election. A campaign then began to persuade voters to support or de-
feat the legislation………
Before election day, nearly all political organizations, newspapers and
television stations in the city had announced themselves in favor of the
legislation. Nevertheless, on election day, the bill went down to defeat-a
narrow defeat by a margin of one percent-but defeat nonetheless. It had
received overwhelming support in the Castro district, the predominately
gay residential area, but was roundly rejected by older voters in the west-
ern part of the city and narrowly rejected by the largely black electorate in
Hunters Point.

For the second time I participated in spreading The Great Controversy in San Francisco, the city of my  birth. Pastor Wilson and his wife held an evangelism series this past week. Streams of Light spread The Great Controversy throughout San Francisco. Not sure how many books were distributed, but it was all they had. In 19 89 we distributed over 300,000 a few days after the earthquake hit San Francisco and Oakland. God's timing was perfect. Many were then open to Biblical truth who if it had not been for the quake would not have been interested in our books.

Pastor Wilson presented much from the Book of Revelation. His message was one of "present truth" and the love of God. His wife presented a health message each night also. It was also present truth involving the great light given to His church involving health. The program was broadcast via the internet and can be viewed here in this topic.
