Amen! And the knowledge of Christ is a revelation of God. And a knowledge of God is everything. We love Him because He first loved us. How do we know this? Because we have a knowledge of God through reading His Word. We cannot trust someone we do not know intimately. At least to trust God with all we have and all we are we must know Him very well. What is the first and greatest of the commandments? To love the Lord our God with what? "All of the heart."

God speaks to our church today in Rev. chapter three beginning at verse 14. After rebuking us as a people, He tells us to repent. He tells us how to be transformed, how to repent. He says "buy of me gold tried in the fire." Gold tried in the fire is faith that works by love, His love. When we behold His great love, our hearts are cleansed from all sin. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Amen!!! What a God we serve!!
