John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 😇

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;  🙏🏻

Amen!  We know the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. When we love the Lord our God with the whole heart, the Holy Spirit will take possession of the heart, thus we become partakers of God's divine nature and are empowered to keep the commandments and reflect all of the fruits of the Spirit, not one will be missing (2 Peter 1:4).
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Amen dear Sister rahab!   God will forgive the sins of all who call on the name of the  Lord and confess their sins. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9. We then are witnesses to the power of grace to transform sinners into saints.

Here is an important reminder to those who love the Lord our God:  If we want to  be saints in heaven, we must first be saints here on Earth. Fear not, for until we become saints here, we have an Intercessor who loves us and does indeed forgive us our sins when we sorrow over how we have crucified 🩸Him afresh.

There is a precious promise that guarantees we will be in heaven. "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Cor. 3:18. Ahh, a well kept secret open to the world!!!  Now we understand why it would be very very good to take one hour out of our busy lives to be with the Lord. Yes, it would be well to spend a thoughtful hour a day contemplating the life of Jesus, especially the closing scenes where we behold the stripes 🩸 whereby we are healed. "But He was wounded 🩸for our transgressions, He was bruised 🩸for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes 🩸we are healed." Isa. 53:5.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: ✨

8:17   And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.
8:18   For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Amen Sister rahab, thank you for sharing how to know we are converted from sinner to saint. Romans 8 is a wonderful chapter telling us who it is that will be in heaven. God wants us to know if we are indeed a child of God. Fear not, "if we walk in the light as He is the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin." 1 John 1:7.

Take a moment to read from Romans 8 that you might know who are truly the children of God:

8:1   [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
8:2   For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
8:3   For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
8:4   That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
8:5   For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
8:6   For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
8:7   Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8:8   So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
8:9   But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
8:10   And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
8:11   But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
8:12   Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
8:13   For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Someone needs to tell the teachers in your church who it is that is truly converted and have eternal life. Many have been deceived and do not know it.  From Revelation to the seventh and last church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church:

 3:14   And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
3:15   I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
3:16   So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
3:17   Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

How important is this message? It will cause the shaking in the church:

I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen, and was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the True Witness to the Laodiceans. This will have its effect upon the heart of the receiver, and will lead him to exalt the standard and pour forth the straight truh. Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this will cause a shaking among God’s people.
The testimony of the True Witness has not been half heeded. The solemn testimony upon which the destiny of the church hangs has been lightly esteemed, if not entirely disregarded. This testimony must work deep repentance, and all that truly receive it will obey it and be purified. Vol 1, Testimonies for the Church, pg 181
.

From 1 John 3:

3:7   Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
3:8   He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
3:9   Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Someone ought to tell the  teachers in your church these important truths if you want to hasten the soon coming of Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who live in the land of liberty. We have been blessed so much that we cannot count the blessings! And to all who are not celebrating a national holiday, you too have been greatly blessed by the Lord our God. We all ought to daily praise and thank our wonderful Savior.

Thank you to Sister rahab for taking time every day to share with us important verses that are the Word of God that we are to live our lives by.

Acts 26:18
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  :o
