Amen! But the wise will not be taken by surprise. We know by the signs of the times that Jesus is even at the doors right now! When there is peace and safety  or appears that way, certain destruction is coming. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be just before the return of our Savior. And as it was just before the great flood if there was one thing above another, it was the amalgamation of humans and animals. It is happening once again. Man has developed ways to split genes and take the genes of humans and implant them in the embryo of animals. Come Lord Jesus!
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Amen!!  In Christ we will not be tempted beyond what we can bear. It is a promise to all who are in a converted state. We can endure this tribulation and glory in it, because it works for our good and God's glory.
