Amen dear brother!

If we would be saints in heaven, we must first be saints on earth. Wherever we are we must bear in mind that we are near to God. If we would only believe that angels of God are constantly around us to protect us from Satan’s snares, and to be a present help in every time of need, we would grow strong. Having a sense of our companionship we would do the things that are pleasing in the sight of God. How careful would we be lest our words should offend Christ, whose character we are to represent to the world. We need to meditate and converse on the mercy and love and compassion of God for us. Satan is not at all pleased with such pure, ennobling, and elevating themes, and he draws apart from us. God’s promise is, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.”  Signs of the Times; October 14, 1897, par. 8
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

The Son of God came to our world in human form to show man that divinity and humanity combined does not commit sin.  He is our Pattern.  Through Him we may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.  {8MR 291.5}

(N). Isaiah 33:15-16

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;
He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Christ came to the world to counteract Satan's falsehood that God had made a law which men could not keep.  Taking humanity upon Himself, He came to this earth, and by a life of obedience showed that God has not made a law that man cannot keep.  He showed that it is possible for man perfectly to obey the law.  Those who accept Christ as their Saviour, becoming partakers of His divine nature, are enabled to follow His example, living in obedience to every precept of the law.  Through the merits of Christ, man is to show by his obedience that he could be trusted in heaven, that he would not rebel.  {FLB 114.2}

Christ carried his humanity with him into the heavenly courts, and all humanity can claim him as their representative.  We may be made complete in him.  How? -- By becoming partakers of the divine nature.  To be partakers of this nature means more than many of us realize.  It means giving up one's own way, and following the path that Christ has marked out.  As we become partakers of the divine nature, we escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.  {RH, June 1, 1905 par. 18}

The greatest work to be done in this life is to make preparation for the future life, for that life which measures with the life of God.  A probation has been granted us that, notwithstanding the difficulties, we may cultivate virtues which shall carry us into the higher life.  Pure love for one another is exercised by those who are partakers of the divine nature.  {19MR 321.2}

Jesus came to suffer in our behalf, that He might impart to us His righteousness.  There is but one way of escape for us, and that is found only in becoming partakers of the divine nature.  {3SM 197.2}

But many say that Jesus was not like us, that He was not as we are in the world, that He was divine, and that we cannot overcome as He overcame.  But Paul writes, "Verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.  Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.  For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted" (Hebrews 2:16-18).  "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (chap. 4:15, 16).  Jesus says, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my father in his throne" (Revelation 3:21).  {3SM 197.3}

Jesus encircled the race with His humanity, and united divinity with humanity; thus moral power is brought to man through the merits of Jesus.  Those who profess His name through His grace are to sanctify themselves that they may exert a sanctifying influence on all with whom they associate.  {3SM 198.1}

So true.
The only difference between us and Jesus is that He was born Full of the Holy Spirit, bible says without measure.
We were all given something at birth but with measure.
We can however by the merits of Christ become as close as we can to human perfection. Something like Adam before the fall.
However having said that, we can never reach the kind of perfection that God has. Only in our own sphere of what is possible for us determined by God.
And of course , Jesus is the Only Son of God.

Joshua 1:5

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

This applies to us too.

(N). Proverbs 3:9-10

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
