Even Job had his problems!  But after it all wasn’t he refined by his trials?

Job 36:11

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Amen! He did not argue with God, but repented deeply. So it was with another faithful man. Moses sinned a most grievous sin, but he too repented quickly and deeply. Where is Moses today?  We too ought to learn the lesson to repent quickly and deeply. What brings about deep repentance? It is not something we can work up.

What a shame! When two have become one, then that poor man appears to have made a poor choice and then suffers because of it.  This ought to be a lesson for young men to understand. And, does not this apply to women as well? If your husband does not love the Lord our God with the whole heart, then what sorrow is in the heart of the wife?
