Amen rahab! thanks for sharing these important truths!! Many have no idea that we may be partakers of God's divine nature. It is only possible when we are wholly surrendered to Christ, then the third Person of the godhead takes possession of the heart. Thus, we are filled with the Holy Spirit and are empowered to keep His law and reflect all of the fruits of the Spirit, not one will be missing. We must be abiding in Jesus and He in us (through His representative, the Holy Spirit).

There's an interesting text in 2 Peter 1:4 which says, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Take Jesus with you today and always

(N) Acts 2:25-26

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Amen!

I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the LORD, because He hath dealt bountifully with me." Psalms 13:5,6

What is grace? He hath made us partakers of His divine nature! What a God we serve!

rahab, what is the (N) ?

The N is for new promise. Ive been doing this since 2017. I let people know when it’s a new one. Some are repeats and some are favorites (F).

I have some that are hi-lighting all the promises in their bible.

You’re very observant.

(N) Matthew 5:44-45

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; :'(
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: :)
for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
