Turkey Continues Move Towards Jerusalem
Richard Myers:
We have for many years been pointing out that Turkey is no longer a free republic, but an Islamic State which can no longer remain in NATO. There has little been said about this situation, but we are nearing the end of her ties with NATO. Their battle against the Kurds and their relationship with Russia are opening the wounds very wide.
A recent visit by Erdogan to the US where Trump and five senators gave him opportunity to express his errors proved his intentions are still moving away from NATO. The path he has chosen is incompatible with the West. He is an Islamist and is intent on going to war with Israel over Jerusalem. source
Richard Myers:
The consolidation of power within Turkey’s executive branch has allowed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to take unprecedented steps to undermine the nation’s democratic institutions. In particular, the return of the trustee system after the March 31, 2019 elections provides strong evidence that Erdoğan is not only committed to dismantling local democracy, but is also unchecked in these efforts. source
Protecting Jerusalem is a red line for Turkey, and Ankara will never leave the holy city to the mercy of the occupant Israeli government, state-run Anadolu Agency quoted Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as saying in a speech to the Pakistani parliament on Friday.
“We gave and will continue to give the strongest response to the occupation, annexation and destruction plan announced by the U.S. government a few weeks ago labelled the deal of the century,” Erdoğan said, referring to a plan for the Middle East announced by U.S. President Donald Trump last month. source
Richard Myers:
Is Turkey still on the move? Does she really want to re-establish the Ottoman Empire and conquer Jerusalem? Turkey's new caliphate is headed by its leader President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. He has sent forces into Libya which has turned the tide in the battle for control of the country. Interestingly he is battling against Russian power which has been involved in Libya for some time. Here is a reference to Turkey and the Ottoman Empire in an article on the subject recently published.
"The triumphs marked a stunning reversal of fortunes for the United Nations-backed Tripoli government, which looked weak and badly besieged by Mr. Hifter until President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey sent troops and armed drones in January. It was Turkey’s most forceful intervention in the oil-rich North African nation since the end of the Ottoman Empire over a century ago." source
Richard Myers:
How long will the world allow Turkey to continue her march to conquer the whole world beginning with Turkey and then Jerusalem? The caliphate is forming before our very eyes. How long before America and NATO throw Turkey out of NATO? In the United States we understand there are those in government that want to move Turkey forward. Many, not all, Muslims do not believe in separation of church and state. Turkey has purged those who disagree with Turkey as an Islamic State. Erdogan is king, or better the caliph of the New Ottoman Empire. While many are blind to what has been happening, not all are. But, how many understand that the Bible reveals that Turkey will go into Jerusalem and then will come to her end.
There are some who are seeing the move Turkey is making, but they have not the light we as a people have been given. Many believe Israel re
mains God's chosen people and believe Israel as a country will survive til the end. But, the Bible says otherwise. "And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him." Daniel 11:45.
I don't usually send others to those who teach error, but the speaker I am asking you to listen to, while in error regarding the state of Israel, understands that Turkey is on the move and the result will be huge. Wake up, our redemption draweth nigh.
Richard Myers:
‘Jerusalem is our city,’ Turkey’s Erdogan declares
“In this city that we had to leave in tears during the First World War, it is still possible to come across traces of the Ottoman resistance. So Jerusalem is our city, a city from us,” he told Turkish lawmakers during a major policy speech in Ankara. “Our first qibla [direction of prayer in Islam] al-Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem are the symbolic mosques of our faith. In addition, this city is home to the holy places of Christianity and Judaism.” source
If one were to ask where the hot spots are in the world, what would you respond? There are many, but the one spot that the whole world is aware of and has been for many years is Israel in the middle of the Islamic world. What has kept Iran from going to all out war with Israel? God has held the winds back. It is only a matter of time before there is all out war. But, now according to Scripture we have a new player that is an old one, Turkey. This comes as a surprise to many because Turkey was a democratic western leaning nation, but that is no more. She is an Islamic state declaring that she is re-establishing the Ottoman Empire. Now she has clearly revealed she believes Jerusalem is her city. Jerusalem, a hot spot indeed! Making Jerusalem the capitol of Israel insured it.
