When I started to believe Turkey to be the King of the North, there was little indication that this could happen. Turkey was a Western leaning democratic republic with strict separation between church and state even though it is a country with mostly (90%) Muslim citizens. It had made application to the EU and was a member of NATO. How could Turkey change sides and march into Jerusalem as conqueror as the Bible prophecy predicts?
Things have changed in the last 15 years. Erdogan, the Turkish dictator has vowed to not only protect Jerusalem, but to occupy it. Here is a short video explaining a little bit of the history that first created a secular state and now has purged the nation of any opposition. Published two years ago. Since then the direction of Turkey has only become more aggressive towards Jerusalem and the West. And, yes, the world is worried about Turkey, but we do not hear much about how serious the situation is. It is impossible for Turkey to remain a member of NATO, yet we don't see any move to oust them yet. It will come.
