As a people we understand our work is not to look to the government to solve the problems of the heart. Jesus did not address the wrongs of Rome. He understood the solution was to be found in changing the heart of man. Evil by nature, the only hope for mankind is in being born again of His Spirit. Thus, Jesus spent His time in ministering to sinners in hopes of bringing forth a new creature with a heart of love.
There are a few situations where we must address the state. One such issue is the making of Sunday laws which make of no effect the law of God. We are to present the binding claims of God's holy law and we must resist the making of Sunday laws.
It is with this in mind we begin a study on how we ought to be working as the movement in Europe and the United States to legislate Sunday rest is advancing rapidly. We will begin this topic by posting a powerful message given recently by Pastor Kim Kjaer on Capitol Hill in front of the Capitol Building.
