"Jesus lives, and because He lives, we shall live also."

"From grateful hearts, from lips touched with holy fire, let the glad song ring out, Christ is risen!"

"He lives to make intercession for us."

"Grasp this hope, and it will hold the soul like a sure, tried anchor."

"Believe, and thou shalt see the glory of God."

Today if there is "ANY DOUBT" in your mind about the Risen Saviour , please join with me in praying this short plea..."LORD, I BELIEVE - HELP THOU MINE UNBELIEF."

=====================

1
I serve a risen Savior
  He’s in the world today.
I know that He is living,
  Whatever men may say.
I see His hand of mercy;
  I hear His voice of cheer;
And just the time I need Him
  He’s always near.
    He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way.
He lives, He lives, salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
    He lives within my heart.
2
In all the world around me
  I see His loving care,
And though my heart grows weary,
  I never will despair;
I know that He is leading,
  Through all the stormy blast;
The day of His appearing
  Will come at last.
3
Rejoice, rejoice, O Christian,
  Lift up your voice and sing
Eternal hallelujahs
  To Jesus Christ the King!
The Hope of all who seek Him,
  The Help of all who find,
None other is so loving,
  So good and kind.

"How many are still doing what these disciples did! How many echo Mary's despairing cry, "They have taken away the Lord, . . . and we know not where they have laid Him"! To how many might the Saviour's words be spoken, "Why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?" He is close beside them, but their tear-blinded eyes do not discern Him. He speaks to them, but they do not understand."

We have every reason to live above discouragement and disappointment. Let's not yield to unbelief when things go wrong. Let's rejoice because our Saviour lives and is making intercession for each child of God. There should be an excitement in the air as we anticipate His soon return.
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

Amen, Brother Beacon and Sister Dorine!

Happy Thanksgiving! Grateful hearts are indeed fitting in light of Christ's resurrection!

"Oh that the bowed head might be lifted, that the eyes might be opened to behold Him, that the ears might listen to His voice! 'Go quickly, and tell His disciples that He is risen.' Bid them look not to Joseph's new tomb, that was closed with a great stone, and sealed with the Roman seal. Christ is not there. Look not to the empty sepulcher. Mourn not as those who are hopeless and helpless. Jesus lives, and because He lives, we shall live also. From grateful hearts, from lips touched with holy fire, let the glad song ring out, Christ is risen! He lives to make intercession for us. Grasp this hope, and it will hold the soul like a sure, tried anchor. Believe, and thou shalt see the glory of God." {The Desire of Ages, page 794, paragraph 6}

Let us surrender the whole heart to Christ, experiencing all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing, and living in true obedience to all of God's commandments! We have so much to thank God for, knowing that His love is infinite and Jesus is now preparing a place for us in heaven!
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

===================
1
Open my eyes that I may see
Glimpses of truth Thou hast for me;
Place in my hands the wonderful key
That shall unclasp and set me free.
    Silently now I wait for Thee,
Ready, my God, Thy will to see;
Open my eyes, illumine me,
    Spirit Divine!
2
Open my ears that I may hear
Voices of truth Thou sendest clear;
And while the wave notes fall on my ear,
Everything false will disappear.
3
Open my mouth and let me bear
Tidings of mercy everywhere;
Open my heart and let me prepare
Love with Thy children thus to share.
4
Open my mind that I may read
More of Thy love in word and deed;
What shall I fear while yet Thou dost lead?
Only for light from Thee I plead.

Amen, Brother Beacon!!

Happy Sabbath!!

Since Jesus sought to encourage His followers after His resurrection with His undiminished love, let us go forth to this world with His love constraining us to give the Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14:6-12 with holy boldness so many more can be ready to meet Him when He comes in glory! His love is infinite!!

"Christ's first work on earth after His resurrection was to convince His disciples of His undiminished love and tender regard for them. To give them proof that He was their living Saviour, that He had broken the fetters of the tomb, and could no longer be held by the enemy death; to reveal that He had the same heart of love as when He was with them as their beloved Teacher, He appeared to them again and again. He would draw the bonds of love still closer around them. Go tell My brethren, He said, that they meet Me in Galilee." {The Desire of Ages, page 793, paragraph 4}

Jesus truly is alive--and He is willing to live in us by the Holy Spirit! Abiding in Jesus gives us a deep union and communion with Him as we continually surrender fully to Him. Such a surrender allows God to orchestrate His plan for our lives, giving us a character experience filled with all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing as long as we choose Him and follow all the light He has shown us, living in affectionate obedience to God! Let us not grow weary in well doing. Jesus is coming SOON!!
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

Amen my dear brothers!! How forgetful is the human race! But, God is long-suffering with us. He loves us so very much.

 Christ's first work on earth after His resurrection was to convince His disciples of His undiminished love and tender regard for them. To give them proof that He was their living Saviour, that He had broken the fetters of the tomb, and could no longer be held by the enemy death; to reveal that He had the same heart of love as when He was with them as their beloved Teacher, He appeared to them again and again. He would draw the bonds of love still closer around them. Go tell My brethren, He said, that they meet Me in Galilee.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

"While the Saviour was in God's presence, receiving gifts for His church, the disciples thought upon His empty tomb, and mourned and wept. The day that was a day of rejoicing to all heaven was to the disciples a day of uncertainty, confusion, and perplexity. Their unbelief in the testimony of the women gives evidence of how low their faith had sunk. The news of Christ's resurrection was so different from what they had anticipated that they could not believe it. It was too good to be true, they thought. They had heard so much of the doctrines and the so-called scientific theories of the Sadducees that the impression made on their minds in regard to the resurrection was vague. They scarcely knew what the resurrection from the dead could mean. They were unable to take in the great subject."

This makes me think about the theories and teachings of today and how the people are so willing to accept whatever they are told for it gives them a false security. They are not listening to truth but fables, nor reading God's word to know truth. When Satan impersonates Christ how quickly so many will run to see. We need Jesus in the heart even if we stand alone from earthly support but we are never alone because Jesus has promised to always be with those who trust and obey Him.
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,

    Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
  I’m standing on the promises of God.
2
Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
  Standing on the promises of God.
3
Standing on the promises I now can see
Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
  Standing on the promises of God.
4
Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
  Standing on the promises of God.
5
Standing on the promises I shall not fall,
List’ning every moment to the Spirit’s call.
Resting in my Savior as my All in all,
 Standing on the promises of God.

"Often they repeated the words, "We trusted that it had been He which should have redeemed Israel." Lonely and sick at heart they remembered His words, "If they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" Luke 24:21; 23:31. They met together in the upper chamber, and closed and fastened the doors, knowing that the fate of their beloved Teacher might at any time be theirs.
And all the time they might have been rejoicing in the knowledge of a risen Saviour. In the garden, Mary had stood weeping, when Jesus was close beside her. Her eyes were so blinded by tears that she did not discern Him. And the hearts of the disciples were so full of grief that they did not believe the angels' message or the words of Christ Himself. "

No matter the circumstances, no matter the issues, Jesus is always with His faithful children. As our hearts are open moment by moment to His leading, trusting and obeying His commands, we are by faith confident, that He is by our side through the Holy Spirit. Doubts and unbelief wound Him. Keep our eyes on Jesus and we will walk in joy and peace. Just think of what that will do for those around us. It will be contagious.

Little did they know that their sorrow was about to turn into Great Joy!! "WE" must remember that when we are hard pressed to belive the promises of a Risen Saviour Jesus revealed Himself to His Disciples. Jesus is never far away from us! and by faith "WE" Must cling to His promise to Never Leave US or Forsake Us..He has promised to Return. Jesus said it and I believe it  --- How about You.

1
Come, every soul by sin oppressed,
  There’s mercy with the Lord;
And He will surely give you rest

    Only trust Him! Only trust Him!
  Only trust Him now!
He will save you! He will save you!
    He will save you now!
2
For Jesus shed His precious blood
  Rich blessings to bestow;
Plunge now into the crimson flood
  That washeth white as snow.
3
Yes, Jesus is the Truth, the Way,
  That leads you into rest;
Believe in Him without delay,
  And you are fully blest.

Come then, and join the holy band,

In Christ’s redemption take your stand,

"Believe" is an action word as this paragraph tells us. We are to go and tell.  It's not just confessing with our lips but our lives will show by our actions that we know what it means. We are to taste and see that God is good and by hungering and thirsting after His righteousness we will not be silent but with the aid of the Holy Spirit will do all in our power to share the blessed news to all who will listen.

Amen my dear brother and sister! We understand the message given to us today. There will come very dark situations, but why ought we weep when Jesus is our Savior!!! 1
Low in the grave He lay—
  Jesus my Savior!
Waiting the coming day—
  Jesus my Lord!

Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
  Hallelujah! Christ arose!
2
Vainly they watch His bed—
  Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead—
  Jesus my Lord!

Death cannot keep his prey—
  Jesus, my Savior!
He tore the bars away—
  Jesus my Lord!

What a look at our Savior's loving heart! He cared that they knew that He loved them! So He went of His way to make sure they understood this. So it is today with us. He loves us! He loves you! He Loves me and sends blessings everyday to show us this even if we don't recognize them as such. Sometimes He directly answers prayers like He did for me Friday night for a friend of mine. As my friend said... "The Lord is mighty!"
By communion with God in nature, the mind is uplifted, and the heart finds rest.  {DA 291.1}

  Ignorant of what was even then taking place, they drew near the garden, saying as they went, "Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?" They knew that they could not remove the stone, yet they kept on their way. And lo, the heavens were suddenly alight with glory that came not from the rising sun. The earth trembled. They saw that the great stone was rolled away. The grave was empty.

    I was struck by the faith of the women, they knew they could not remove the stone covering Jesus' grave, they did not turn back to find someone to help them, they continued on to Jesus' grave, God rewarded that faith as the tomb was open when they arrived, and what a blessing to them, the first to know Jesus was a risen savior.

Amen my dear  brothers!!  There is a truth that will keep us when all looks very dark. It is the love of God for us while we were yet sinners! Jesus came forth from a very dark place. He was made sin for us. Let us look past what we can see to the glory of our God!

It was Christ Himself who had placed those graveclothes with such care. When the mighty angel came down to the tomb, he was joined by another, who with his company had been keeping guard over the Lord's body. As the angel from heaven rolled away the stone, the other entered the tomb, and unbound the wrappings from the body of Jesus. But it was the Saviour's hand that folded each, and laid it in its place. In His sight who guides alike the star and the atom, there is nothing unimportant. Order and perfection are seen in all His work.

There is so much to comment on from this chapter but I chose this small paragraph that touched me this morning. As the awe of the sacred is losing it's place in the lives of so many Christians today, these few words describes the careful attention God pays to everything He does. It's a lesson for each one of us. What ever our hands find to do we should do it with the best of our ability. The way we dress, the way we talk, the company we most enjoy, our prayer and study time along with our attention to the needs of others, all tell what our impression is of God. Do we live by His command or do we treat Him as our slave to do as we desire?
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

Amen Beacon and sister Dorine!

He is risen, He is risen! The women repeat the words again and again. No need now for the anointing spices. The Saviour is living, and not dead. They remember now that when speaking of His death He said that He would rise again. What a day is this to the world! Quickly the women departed from the sepulcher "with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word."

What joy it must have been for them to suddenly realize their Savior lives yet again. We also can have great joy if we come to Him to have our burdens removed. Seek Him while He can yet be found as He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

By communion with God in nature, the mind is uplifted, and the heart finds rest.  {DA 291.1}
