North Pacific Union Conference Removes Ordinations
« on: March 15, 2016, 10:49:19 AM »
The North Pacific Union (NPUC) executive committee at its March 2 meeting approved the request of 10 pastors to undo their ordinations and instead become commissioned ministers. The pastors from the Oregon Conference are Greg Brothers, Chad Carlton, Steve Lemke, Tim Mayne, David Smith, Monte Torkelsen, James Wibberding, Lonnie Wibberding. And, from the Washington Conference are: John McLarty and Mark Pekar.

This action will help to keep the rebellion local since non ordained pastors are not recognized world-wide.

There's just one problem with that. Such requests and actions are taking place in other parts of the world.
O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. Jeremiah  10:23-24

Yes, and where there is rebellion, it is good to remove their ordination and keep them home amongst those who have joined with them.
