Amen, Brother Beacon and Sister Dorine!
We can take courage to see how God does things. Jesus was sharing the truths of the kingdom of God with the people who had gathered, and after they had been fed by a miracle, they were to take up the remains to share with others. Let us value all that God does in our lives, trusting His grace and strength so God's kingdom can and will go forward. Let us be part of hastening His return by living and sharing His character with the world. The character of God will be manifest in a soul truly converted, allowing the Holy Spirit to reveal all of the fruits of the divine nature, even love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Not one of these traits will be missing as long as there is a vital union and communion with God, empowering the soul to be growing in grace and walking in obedience to all of God's commandments.
"The work of building up the kingdom of Christ will go forward, though to all appearance it moves slowly and impossibilities seem to testify against advance. The work is of God, and He will furnish means, and will send helpers, true, earnest disciples, whose hands also will be filled with food for the starving multitude. God is not unmindful of those who labor in love to give the word of life to perishing souls, who in their turn reach forth their hands for food for other hungry souls." {The Desire of Ages, page 370, paragraph 2}
The world is hungering for Jesus, whether they know it or not. The things of this fallen world cannot satisfy like His presence alone can, for He is the bread of life. When we partake of His word which is given by the Holy Spirit, it is as we allow it to transform our motives, thoughts, feelings and actions that we find life is a blessing as we align with God's plan which He designed for us, according to our strength and capacity. Trust God to provide for all of your mental, emotional, relational, physical, financial and spiritual needs as you cooperate with Him in the plans given in His word. Live to bless others as Jesus has set the example.
