"The teaching of Christ was the expression of an in wrought conviction and experience, and those who learn of Him become teachers after the divine order."

"The word of God, spoken by one who is himself sanctified through it, has a life-giving power that makes it attractive to the hearers, and convicts them that it is a living reality."

 "When one has received the truth in the love of it, he will make this manifest in the persuasion of his manner and the tones of his voice. He makes known that which he himself has heard, seen, and handled of the word of life, that others may have fellowship with him through the knowledge of Christ. His testimony, from lips touched with a live coal from off the altar, is truth to the receptive heart, and works sanctification upon the character."

"And this we shall do if we love the lord our God with all of the heart, mind, soul, and strength."

"He who seeks to give light to others will himself be blessed" "There shall be showers of blessing." "He that watereth shall be watered also himself." Proverbs 11:25.

"God could have reached His object in saving sinners without our aid."

"However, in order for us to develop a character like Christ's, we must share in His work."

"In order to enter into His joy, The joy of seeing souls redeemed by His sacrifice."

"We must participate in His labors for their redemption."

Do "WE" recognize the great privilege and honor that Jesus  has placed upon "US" by asking us to be His co-laborers ?? Will you tell Him No Thanks or will you say " Here am I Lord - Send Me?

==================================
1
Do not wait until some deed of greatness you may do,
Do not wait to shed your light afar,
To the many duties ever near you now be true,
Brighten the corner where you are.
    Brighten the corner where you are!
Brighten the corner where you are!
Someone far from harbor you may guide across the bar;
Brighten the corner where you are!
2
Just above are clouded skies that you may help to clear,
Let not narrow self your way debar;
Though into one heart alone may fall your song of cheer,
Brighten the corner where you are.
3
Here for all your talent you may surely find a need,
Here reflect the bright and Morning Star;
Even from your humble hand the Bread of Life may feed,
Brighten the corner where you are.
4
Right beside you are believers who have gone astray;
For lost sheep, you need not seek afar.
In Christ’s love, exhort, restore, and comfort them today;
Brighten the corner where you are.
5
Stay in fellowship with Jesus and behold His face
If His glorious radiance you’d impart.
Love and serve the Lord sincerely; this will touch men’s hearts;
Brighten the corner where you are.
6
Christ is coming as the Master to reward His slaves;
He appears on high, the Morning Star;
Sinners rescue, saints recover while it’s still today,
Brighten the corner where you are.

Happy Sabbath!!

Amen, Brother Beacon!!!

It's preparation time!! Jesus is coming again VERY SOON, and the preparatory work that John the Baptist did in helping people see the necessity of heart holiness and entire surrender to God is again to be the emphasis in preparing a people to stand before God, clothed in His character!

"Anciently, when a king journeyed through the less frequented parts of his dominion, a company of men was sent ahead of the royal chariot to level the steep places and to fill up the hollows, that the king might travel in safety and without hindrance. This custom is employed by the prophet to illustrate the work of the gospel. 'Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low.' When the Spirit of God, with its marvelous awakening power, touches the soul, it abases human pride. Worldly pleasure and position and power are seen to be worthless. 'Imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God' are cast down; every thought is brought into captivity 'to the obedience of Christ.' 2 Corinthians 10:5. Then humility and self-sacrificing love, so little valued among men, are exalted as alone of worth. This is the work of the gospel, of which John's message was a part." {The Desire of Ages, page 135, paragraph 1}

The gospel has the power to change proud sinners into humble, repentant saints who love Jesus wholeheartedly and their neighbor as themselves. The witness of a life in which Christ abides reveals all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing in harmony with true obedience to all of God's Ten Commandments! May it be your experience to "let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:5).
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

"If Nathanael had trusted to the rabbis for guidance, he would never have found Jesus. It was by seeing and judging for himself that he became a disciple. So in the case of many today whom prejudice withholds from good. How different would be the result if they would "come and see"!

While they trust to the guidance of human authority, none will come to a saving knowledge of the truth. Like Nathanael, we need to study God's word for ourselves, and pray for the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. He who saw Nathanael under the fig tree will see us in the secret place of prayer. Angels from the world of light are near to those who in humility seek for divine guidance."

As we learn we share. We don't wait until we know everything there is to know. We would never share for learning never ends; even throughout eternity. Does our angel find us spending that thoughtful hour each day in the study of God's word and in sincere, humble prayer? What a joy we experience when we can bring someone to Christ.

Amen my dear friends!  We have a message to share with the world! What joy that brings to our hearts as we find those who are seeking truth! And as we go about our work  as fishers of men are coming into unity of doctrine. You can see that is happening as you read our posts daily.

"There are many who need the ministration of loving Christian hearts."

"Many have gone down to ruin who might have been saved if their neighbors, common men and women, had put forth personal effort for them. "

"Many are waiting to be personally addressed."

"In the very family the neighborhood, the town, where we live, there is work for us to do as missionaries for Christ."

"If we are Christians, this work will be our delight."

"No sooner is one converted than there is born within him a desire to make known to others what a precious friend he has found in Jesus."

Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;
Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves;
Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,
Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;
By and by, the harvest and the labor ended,
We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Isn't it wonderful that God has put trust in us to carry on His mission! He works with us to bless others and in doing so we are blessed beyond imagination.  This is the result of total surrender to Christ. Otherwise we only feel blessed when special things are happening to us. May we look to Jesus so that we may know Him and tread the path that He walked day by day.

Amen, Brother Beacon and Sister Dorine!

By surrendering fully to Christ, let us enter into His experience, for this alone will enable the soul to have all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing in the life, leading to true obedience to all of God's commandments! Then the witness of such a life will be winsome like Jesus, wooing souls to heaven in God's appointed way!

"The teaching of Christ was the expression of an inwrought conviction and experience, and those who learn of Him become teachers after the divine order. The word of God, spoken by one who is himself sanctified through it, has a life-giving power that makes it attractive to the hearers, and convicts them that it is a living reality. God desires to sanctify and make us holy, for happiness is the result of holiness, enabling us to be more like Jesus each day by beholding His loveliness of character!

Amen my dear friends. When truly born again we will come rejoicing bringing in the sheaves. We will reflect His character if we will spend a thoughful hour a day contemplating the life of Jesus.

    And he who seeks to give light to others will himself be blessed. "There shall be showers of blessing." "He that watereth shall be watered also himself." Proverbs 11:25. And we are truly blessed to have an Elijah in our day.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Is "OUR" heart receptive to the invitation that Jesus is giving to "US"  Do "WE" have a burning desire to know Him more and more each day?? Are "WE" really concerned about others who have not heard the Good News about the LOVE of GOD for ALL His Children?? Time is running out to freely share the Good News about God's Grace....Let us with joyful hearts do all we can before the End Time Persecutions come upon us.

===========================1
Living for Jesus a life that is true,
Striving to please Him in all that I do;
Yielding allegiance, glad-hearted and free,
This is the pathway of blessing for me.
    O Jesus, Lord and Savior,
I give myself to Thee,
For Thou, in Thy [redemption],*
Didst give Thyself for me;
I own no other Master,
My heart shall be Thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live,
O Christ, for Thee alone.
2
Living for Jesus who died in my place,
Bearing on Calv’ry my sin and disgrace;
Such love constrains me to answer His call,
Follow His leading and give Him my all.
3
Living for Jesus wherever I am,
Doing each duty in His holy name;
Willing to suffer affliction and loss,
Deeming each trial a part of my cross.
4
Living for Jesus through earth’s little while,
My dearest treasure, the light of His smile;
Seeking the lost ones He died to redeem,
Bringing the weary to find rest in Him.

Amen, Brother Beacon!

Let us look at Christ--steadfastly, daily, continually and perseveringly. "Look at me on the cross" as an invitation from Jesus by the Holy Spirit is a call to see through His eyes so that the trials or experiences of this temporal life begin to fade in the glorious light of Calvary and the countenance of infinite love revealing the Father's yearning heart to save us. His cross makes it possible for us to take up our cross. "And He said to them all, If any man will come after He, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23). The loveliness of Jesus is seen throughout His life, not just at Calvary. Let us in imagination fix our thoughts upon Jesus. He elevates and ennobles us into reflections of His character--all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing as we are empowered to obey the law of God from the heart up to the light we have received!

"But as the people looked upon Him, they saw a face where divine compassion was blended with conscious power. Every glance of the eye, every feature of the countenance, was marked with humility, and expressive of unutterable love. He seemed to be surrounded by an atmosphere of spiritual influence. While His manners were gentle and unassuming, He impressed men with a sense of power that was hidden, yet could not be wholly concealed. Was this the One for whom Israel had so long waited?" {The Desire of Ages, page 137, paragraph 4}

Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the first advent of the Messiah, but He did not fulfill men's popular expectations of the kind of Messiah who would set up a temporal kingdom that would overthrow Rome. Jesus is inviting us to have His kingdom of grace established today in our hearts so we can value the eternal things of heaven and be faithful stewards in our daily lives as His witnesses. By His grace through faith, we can be saved and overcome. Let us allow Him to imbue us so deeply with His character experience that nothing will pull us back to living out the slavery of the fallen nature. In the divine nature accessible us to by God's word, we are free to delight in His service! "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:4).
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
  That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
  Was blind, but now I see.
2
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
  And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
  The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
  His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
  As long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise

Amen, Brother Beacon!!

Praise God for Jesus!! He came in humility, but in complete harmony with the word of God, for HE IS THE WORD OF GOD!! If you desire to know what a life looks like that lives by every word of God, then study prayerfully the life of Christ point by point, from the manger of Bethlehem to Calvary's cross--especially the closing moments of His life. Let the glory of His humility and beauty woo you to become like Him in mind and character. All of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing are the sure result of genuinely being converted to Christ and gladly obeying Him with the whole heart! Acquiesce to the One who loves you more than you can ask or think!

"But as the people looked upon Him, they saw a face where divine compassion was blended with conscious power. Every glance of the eye, every feature of the countenance, was marked with humility, and expressive of unutterable love. He seemed to be surrounded by an atmosphere of spiritual influence. While His manners were gentle and unassuming, He impressed men with a sense of power that was hidden, yet could not be wholly concealed. Was this the One for whom Israel had so long waited?" {The Desire of Ages, page 137, paragraph 4}

Yes, He IS THE FULFILLMENT!! When we study the whole Bible to see glimpses of Jesus' loveliness of character, it changes everything. When we look for His plan for our lives as we abide in Jesus, we are invigorated with life from above to become missionaries for Jesus to reach every nation, kindred, tongue and people with the everlasting gospel for this time! Let's lift Jesus up so high that people are not attracted to receiving the mark of the beast or staying in Babylon! Jesus is coming soon!!

We can see the present truth of God preparing a people for translation to heaven without seeing death in connection with the three angels' messages going to the whole world, preparing for the Son of Man to come and reap the earth!

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: and they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle" (Revelation 14:1-14).

Will you choose to be fully yielded to Jesus so you are ready to meet Him when He comes? Today is the day of salvation!!
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

We see so much of this today. Prayer meeting, and bible studies too often are from some unknown author that has found their idea of the best way of knowing God. Some of them are of another faith yet are held in high esteem for us to follow. Even some authors of our own faith have ideas and conclusions that are unsafe to believe. This has led to much confusion and division in our midst. Give me the bible and the Spirit of Prophecy and with an open teachable heart I will know the truth which never contradicts itself.

Amen my dearest friends! What a joy to learn at the foot of the cross. What joy fills our hearts as we share what we learn of our Savior with others who are seeking truth!

The teaching of Christ was the expression of an inwrought conviction and experience, and those who learn of Him become teachers after the divine order. The word of God, spoken by one who is himself sanctified through it, has a life-giving power that makes it attractive to the hearers, and convicts them that it is a living reality. When one has received the truth in the love of it, he will make this manifest in the persuasion of his manner and the tones of his voice. He makes known that which he himself has heard, seen, and handled of the word of life, that others may have fellowship with him through the knowledge of Christ. His testimony, from lips touched with a live coal from off the altar, is truth to the receptive heart, and works sanctification upon the character.
     And he who seeks to give light to others will himself be blessed. "There shall be showers of blessing." "He that watereth shall be watered also himself." Proverbs 11:25. God could have reached His object in saving sinners without our aid; but in order for us to develop a character like Christ's, we must share in His work. In order to enter into His joy,--the joy of seeing souls redeemed by His sacrifice,--we must participate in His labors for their redemption.

Amen, amen, amen!! God has greatly blessed us that we might bless others and experience the joy that our Savior has experienced!

"God could have reached His object in saving sinners without our aid; but in order for us to develop a character like Christ's, we must share in His work." "In order to enter into His joy,--the joy of seeing souls redeemed by His sacrifice,--we must participate in His labors for their redemption."

Are "WE" willing to become co-laborer's with Jesus??

========================

1
O, little lamb who has lost your way,
Jesus is seeking for you today.
One from the hundred has gone astray.
O, could it be you?

O, could it be you?
O, could it be you?
One from the hundred has gone astray.
O, could it be you?
2
Are you a man who has lost his way?
The Spirit’s seeking for you today.
From ten gold coins one has rolled away.
O, could it be you?

O, could it be you?
O, could it be you?
From ten gold coins one has rolled away.
O, could it be you?
3
O, wand’ring soul, is there peace within?
How we’d rejoice if you’d but return!
For His lost son does the Father yearn.
O, could it be you?

O, could it be you?
O, could it be you?
For His lost son does the Father yearn.
O, could it be you?

Philip said to Nathanael, "Come and see." He did not ask him to accept another's testimony, but to behold Christ for himself. Now that Jesus has ascended to heaven, His disciples are His representatives among men, and one of the most effective ways of winning souls to Him is in exemplifying His character in our daily life. Our influence upon others depends not so much upon what we say as upon what we are. Men may combat and defy our logic, they may resist our appeals; but a life of disinterested love is an argument they cannot gainsay. A consistent life, characterized by the meekness of Christ, is a power in the world.

As we daily study God's word and the life of Jesus in particular with a searching, teachable heart, the Holy Spirit transforms our whole being into instruments that He will use to glorify God. When God has a church that reflects His character, many lives will be touched and brought to a saving relationship with Christ. And He will have a people safe to enter heaven. What a merciful and powerful God we serve to extend such grace to a wretch such as I.
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

But as the people looked upon Him, they saw a face where divine compassion was blended with conscious power. Every glance of the eye, every feature of the countenance, was marked with humility, and expressive of unutterable love. He seemed to be surrounded by an atmosphere of spiritual influence. While His manners were gentle and unassuming, He impressed men with a sense of power that was hidden, yet could not be wholly concealed. Was this the One for whom Israel had so long waited?

We too can be like this. There is a SOP statement that says when interacting with others that our behavior should leave them without question that we have been in connection with Christ. No question will have to be asked if they are a follower of Christ or not. I'll be honest and say that i'm not certain that I'd say this is me entirely. However, one thing I am certain of is that Christ is gentle (most of the time) when pointing out my faults and that He will finish the work He has begun.
By communion with God in nature, the mind is uplifted, and the heart finds rest.  {DA 291.1}

Amen my dear family! We indeed have found the Messiah!

Angels from the world of light are near to those who in humility seek for divine guidance.

And when we are truly converted we do not need to be pushed to be evangelists any more than did the woman at the well.

 In the very family, the neighborhood, the town, where we live, there is work for us to do as missionaries for Christ. If we are Christians, this work will be our delight. No sooner is one converted than there is born within him a desire to make known to others what a precious friend he has found in Jesus. The saving and sanctifying truth cannot be shut up in his heart.All  who are consecrated to God will be channels of light. God makes them His agents to communicate to others the riches of His grace. His promise is, "I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing." Ezekiel 34:26.

We have this most wonderful message to take the whole world before it perishes. Let us today search for those seeking truth. There are so very many all around us who want to know what is going to happen next according to what the Bible says. Jesus is even at the doors!!
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.
