"God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. It is the "Son of man" who shares the throne of the universe. It is the "Son of man" whose name shall be called, "Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6. The I AM is the Daysman between God and humanity, laying His hand upon both. He who is "holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners," is not ashamed to call us brethren. Hebrews 7:26;  2:11. In Christ the family of earth and the family of heaven are bound together. Christ glorified is our brother. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite Love."

As we once again journey together through this beautiful book of Jesus I know that new revelations of God's love will be revealed to us. Knowing Jesus is to love Him and in loving Him we will work together to finish the work He came to do. What an awesome privilege He has given to us. May we be more urgent in our search for lost souls. The signs of Christ's eminent coming are  everywhere. If our hearts are not totally surrendered to Jesus it's not too late to unite with Him and allow Him to be the One and only lover in our lives.
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

  In the beginning, God was revealed in all the works of creation. It was Christ that spread the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth. It was His hand that hung the worlds in space, and fashioned the flowers of the field. "His strength setteth fast the mountains." "The sea is His, and He made it." Psalm 65:6; 95:5. It was He that filled the earth with beauty, and the air with song. And upon all things in earth, and air, and sky, He wrote the message of the Father's love.

This paragraph spoke a very strong message to me this morning about Gods creation and his second book nature, I went to my front flower bed which is full of miniature sunflowers, it was overcast and damp, as darkness came on last night the honey bees just stopped working, the were curled up on the flowers as if dead, then as the warmth of the sun shone on them they came back to work and resumed the work God intended them to do. So the darkness of doubt and unbelief lead to sin and our lives become stained and we stop doing Gods work. When we read his Word and the light of God and His love flow into us we become alive once again and return to Him and the work he has for us to do.  It is only through the grace, love, and light of Christ(Jesus), that we are saved and become a member of His Kingdom.

"Even now all created things declare the glory of His excellence."

"There is nothing, save the selfish heart of man, that lives unto itself. No bird that cleaves the air, no animal that moves upon the ground, but ministers to some other life. There is no leaf of the forest, or lowly blade of grass, but has its ministry. Every tree and shrub and leaf pours forth that element of life without which neither man nor animal could live; and man and animal, in turn, minister to the life of tree and shrub and leaf. The flowers breathe fragrance and unfold their beauty in blessing to the world."

"The sun sheds its light to gladden a thousand worlds."

The ocean, itself the source of all our springs and fountains, receives the streams from every land, but takes to give. The mists ascending from its bosom fall in showers to water the earth, that it may bring forth and bud."

What an awesome "Gift" from our Creator. Let us do all that is within our power to reduce the horrible level of pollution that now exists both Spiritually and Physically on the planet we call home.
Look up and listen for the shout.

Amen my dear friends!  What a wonderful chapter. There is so much to be thankful for. Today I was impressed with the same truth Sister Dorine has shared. Think of it, Christ is our Savior, our Lord, and our Brother!!

But, how can I pass over the most beautiful writing I have ever read.

   Now sin has marred God's perfect work, yet that handwriting remains. Even now all created things declare the glory of His excellence. There is nothing, save the selfish heart of man, that lives unto itself. The flowers breathe fragrance and unfold their beauty in blessing to the world. The sun sheds its light to gladden a thousand worlds. The ocean, itself the source of all our springs and fountains, receives the streams from every land, but takes to give. The mists ascending from its bosom fall in showers to water the earth, that it may bring forth and bud.

And, some may not have picked up on this most amazing truth. It is our privilege to be closer to God than the unfallen angels. They have never experienced God's grace.

The angels of glory find their joy in giving,--giving love and tireless watchcare to souls that are fallen and unholy. Heavenly beings woo the hearts of men; they bring to this dark world light from the courts above; by gentle and patient ministry they move upon the human spirit, to bring the lost into a fellowship with Christ which is even closer than they themselves can know.

When we acknowledge the angels who minister to us, they smile. Tell them you appreciate all they do.  :)

As we go forth today may we think less of self and more of others as we join the heavenly beings in bringing joy and comfort to the hearts of needy souls. As we once again watch Jesus moving among the crowds and listening to His words of love we will learn anew how to implement His ways of reaching the lost.

Amen dear Sister Dorine!  I was impressed with the same truth, that God brings us into a very close communion with Himself.

   By His life and His death, Christ has achieved even more than recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation between God and man; but in Christ we become more closely united to God than if we had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound Himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. "God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son." John 3:16. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice; He gave Him to the fallen race. To assure us of His immutable counsel of peace, God gave His only-begotten Son to become one of the human family, forever to retain His human nature.

What a beautiful message to start off our new reading. We are indeed the lesson book of the  universe. It is the love of God which is the foundation of His government. A love that if allowed into our hearts will transform us from sinner into saint. We are to be His witnesses of the power of His love (grace).
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Amen, Sister Dorine, Brother Richard, and Brother Beacon!

God is a planner, and He intends to save everyone! All who come to Him He freely receives, revealing His grace that has the power to transform a sinner into a saint and keep such a one from falling! All of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing will be manifest in the life of the truly converted soul who abides in Christ, thus leading to affectionately obeying all the truth of God's law that is revealed! What a joy to go where God sends and to do His holy will!

"The plan for our redemption was not an afterthought, a plan formulated after the fall of Adam. It was a revelation of 'the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal.' Romans 16:25, R. V. It was an unfolding of the principles that from eternal ages have been the foundation of God's throne. From the beginning, God and Christ knew of the apostasy of Satan, and of the fall of man through the deceptive power of the apostate. God did not ordain that sin should exist, but He foresaw its existence, and made provision to meet the terrible emergency. So great was His love for the world, that He covenanted to give His only-begotten Son, 'that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' John 3:16." {The Desire of Ages, page 22, paragraph 2}

Would you like to abide in Jesus? Behold the Lamb of God and overcome!

If the angles of glory find their joy in giving love and tireless watch care to souls that are fallen and unholy...should we do less? At the beginning of 2022 we have an invitation from Jesus to join His army!!Luke 10:2 says....
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Will You & I respond to the Lord of the harvest as this new year begins??

Amen, Brother Beacon!

Let us appreciate the gift of Jesus to us and become like Him by beholding Him! What an infinite gift God the Father offers us in Christ! As we yield the whole heart to Jesus, all of the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives without one missing, and we can affectionately obey God from the new heart He gives us!

"By coming to dwell with us, Jesus was to reveal God both to men and to angels. He was the Word of God,--God's thought made audible. In His prayer for His disciples He says, 'I have declared unto them Thy name,'--'merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,'--"that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them.' But not alone for His earthborn children was this revelation given. Our little world is the lesson book of the universe. God's wonderful purpose of grace, the mystery of redeeming love, is the theme into which "angels desire to look," and it will be their study throughout endless ages. Both the redeemed and the unfallen beings will find in the cross of Christ their science and their song. It will be seen that the glory shining in the face of Jesus is the glory of self-sacrificing love. In the light from Calvary it will be seen that the law of self-renouncing love is the law of life for earth and heaven; that the love which 'seeketh not her own' has its source in the heart of God; and that in the meek and lowly One is manifested the character of Him who dwelleth in the light which no man can approach unto." {The Desire of Ages, page 19, paragraph 2}

We are invited to dwell with God and be free from the power of sin by having Christ live out His life in us. What a joy it is to walk by grace through faith in the genuine experience of salvation and invite others into this experience, too!
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

What a message!! What a God!! Praise Him for His unspeakable Gift, Immanuel!!

This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder." God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite Love.

There is so much here that we could go on and on, but then the importance of this one thought might be lost. That Jesus took our fallen nature, He came in the likeness of sinful flesh and was without sin, and now has it no longer, but He retains His human nature for eternity. He is God and retains His divine nature. He has two natures. What is so important about this? In His human nature He is bound by it to us forever. The Spirit is His representative that lives in our hearts, but Jesus as I understand His nature can no longer be everywhere. His human nature He cannot be everywhere at one time as the Spirit and the Father can. Understanding His nature to the degree it has been revealed is very important. Why? Because it reveals the sacrifice that God has made for humanity and the universe It is this great love whereby sin will never again enter the universe.

     Through Christ's redeeming work the government of God stands justified. The Omnipotent One is made known as the God of love. Satan's charges are refuted, and his character unveiled. Rebellion can never again arise. Sin can never again enter the universe. Through eternal ages all are secure from apostasy. By love's self-sacrifice, the inhabitants of earth and heaven are bound to their Creator in bonds of indissoluble union.

It is this grace towards us that is what keeps fallen man from sinning, it is the only thing that can transform sinners into saints. By behold this grace we will become changed into His image today!!  "We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Cor. 3:18.

Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

======================

Not I, but Christ be honored, loved, exalted,
Not I, but Christ be seen, be known and heard;
Not I, but Christ in every look and action,
Not I, but Christ in every thought and word.
    Oh, to be saved from myself, dear Lord,
  Oh, to be lost in Thee,
Oh, that it may be no more I,
    But Christ that lives in me.
2
Not I, but Christ to gently soothe in sorrow,
Not I, but Christ to wipe the falling tear;
Not I, but Christ to lift the weary burden,
Not I, but Christ to hush away all fear.
3
Christ, only Christ, no idle word e’er falling,
Christ, only Christ, no needless bustling sound;
Christ, only Christ, no self-important bearing,
Christ, only Christ, no trace of I be found.
4
Not I, but Christ my every need supplying,
Not I, but Christ my strength and health to be;
Christ, only Christ, for spirit, soul, and body,
Christ, only Christ, live then Thy life in me.
5
Christ, only Christ, ere long will fill my vision,
Glory excelling soon, full soon I’ll see;
Christ, only Christ, my every wish fulfilling,
Christ, only Christ, my all in all to be.

I'm so glad God shared this promise with us. He wanted us to have peace about our eternal future. With each beginning of our reading of DA I have excited anticipation because the Holy Spirit always has deeper revelations of God to impart to us. And as God's love is more clearly revealed our love towards Him grows and our witness will be more powerful as the light from heaven shines through us by the fruits of the Spirit. We will have every one; "love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Against such there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23) This is so important to understand. That is why it is repeated over and over. May our hearts be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit each and every moment. Then we will see the salvation of many and our lovely Saviour will come to receive us home.

Amen, Brother Beacon and Sister Dorine!

May God bless you in beholding the loveliness of Jesus! As we surrender the whole heart to Him, He manifests through us all of the fruits of the Spirit without one missing as we are converted instruments of His grace!

"The earth was dark through misapprehension of God. That the gloomy shadows might be lightened, that the world might be brought back to God, Satan's deceptive power was to be broken. This could not be done by force. The exercise of force is contrary to the principles of God's government; He desires only the service of love; and love cannot be commanded; it cannot be won by force or authority. Only by love is love awakened. To know God is to love Him; His character must be manifested in contrast to the character of Satan. This work only one Being in all the universe could do. Only He who knew the height and depth of the love of God could make it known. Upon the world's dark night the Sun of Righteousness must rise, 'with healing in His wings.' Malachi 4:2." {The Desire of Ages, page 22, paragraph 1}

There is such a miracle that takes place when we are loved by God and really BELIEVE and RECEIVE it in its completeness! We become like the One we behold and adore! Healing love is amazing, because it expands our capacity for knowing and loving God and for being a blessing to others!
"When we live by faith on the Son of God, the fruits of the Spirit will be seen in our lives; not one will be missing." {The Desire of Ages, 676.4}

 I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small,

Find in Me thine all in all.”

All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
  He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find

Whereby Thy grace to claim—
I’ll wash my garments white

4
And when, before the throne,
I stand in Him complete,
“Jesus died my soul to save,”
My lips shall still repeat.

( Jesus Paid It ALL )

Lyrics:Elvina Mable Reynolds Hall (1822-1889)
Music:John Thomas Grape (1834-1915)

"By His humanity, Christ touched humanity; by His divinity, He lays hold upon the throne of God. As the Son of man, He gave us an example of obedience; as the Son of God, He gives us power to obey. It was Christ who from the bush on Mount Horeb spoke to Moses saying, "I AM THAT I AM. . . . Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14. This was the pledge of Israel's deliverance. So when He came "in the likeness of men," He declared Himself the I AM. The Child of Bethlehem, the meek and lowly Saviour, is God "manifest in the flesh." 1 Timothy 3:16.

Jesus knows us individually and cares for us individually. He knows where we have come from and the experiences we have had. He knows our weaknesses and how easy it is for us to cave to the temptations Satan attacks us with. But praise God He offers His divine help if we will give our hearts unreservedly to Him. We may have His power to overcome the evil traits and temptations that assail us. It is a free gift from the great I AM. And to us He says: "I AM the Good Shepherd." "I AM the living Bread." "I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life." "All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth." John 10:11; 6:51; 14:6; Matthew 28:18. I AM the assurance of every promise. I AM; be not afraid. "God with us" is the surety of our deliverance from sin, the assurance of our power to obey the law of heaven."
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

Amen brother and sister!!  And what a sacrifice!! What a way to open up the story of Jesus. He is one with us for eternity. He no longer can be everywhere since He is bound by His humanity. This book has so very much in it. I continue to be amazed that much of what is important is found in this wonderful Book!

This is the pledge that God will fulfill His word. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder." God has adopted human nature in the person of His Son, and has carried the same into the highest heaven. Heaven is enshrined in humanity, and humanity is enfolded in the bosom of Infinite Love.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

"By His humanity, Christ touched humanity."

"By His divinity, He lays hold upon the throne of God."

"As the Son of man, He gave us an example of obedience."

'"As the Son of God, He gives us power to obey."
"It was Christ who from the bush on Mount Horeb spoke to Moses
saying,.."

"I AM THAT I AM"

"Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14.

"This was the pledge of Israel's deliverance."

So when He came "in the likeness of men," He declared Himself the I AM. The Child of Bethlehem, the meek and lowly Saviour, is God "manifest in the flesh." 1 Timothy 3:16.

Today, through " FAITH" in His shed blood on our behalf , we are inheritors of His Amazing, Saving, Grace. PTL!!

===========================
1
Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,
  That saved a wretch; like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
  Was blind, but now I see.
2
’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
  And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
  The hour I first believed!
3
The Lord hath promised good to me,
  His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be
  As long as life endures.
4
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
  Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
  Than when we first begun.

Lyrics:John Newton (1725-1807)
