Congratulations! So glad this has gone well. Happy, happy, happy for you both.
O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O Lord, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. Jeremiah  10:23-24

Praise God for a healthy little boy. He is beautiful. Mom and Dad look radiant. Heaven must be rejoicing with you.

So great to come online and "see" such good news, Immanuel! Praying for you all, a new baby is such a joy and blessing! That is why my daughter and her daughter has the middle name of Carole, "Song of Joy," which they both have been! I will be eager to know what you name "Baby Roth."

Yes we are home. His name is Anthony Joshua Clay Roth (AJ) . The Lord has been good to us. Since we had to have a scheduled delivery we scheduled it on Monday so that we hopefully would not have to be in the hospital over Sabbath. AJ's billirubin levels were going up and he was getting slightly jaundiced. They said that we might have to stay longer but his last scan on Thursday did not show an increase so we were able to come home. Spent Sabbath at home, which was different for me, but it was a blessing. The pediatrician was very adament that we not take him out in public or expose him to many people because he was born a month early and his immune system is not as developed as a full term baby. So he will be staying at home with mom until he is one month old. Other than that things have been going very well.

This is good news, Immanuel. That which God has given is now firmly in His hands.  What would you like us to call him?  We will continue to pray for him.

We are going to be calling him AJ for now. We couldn't decide between Anthony John or Joshua Levi. Clay was always going to be the third name because that is Keara's dads name.

Keara wanted Anthony John so that we could call him AJ and I wanted Joshua Levi because of the strong Bible name. Both of us were fine with either one so we decided to wait until he was born. When I first saw him I immediately thought Anthony. I still wanted Joshua because it means God is Salvation. It took us a few days of prayer and discussion to figure it out, going back and forth between Anthony John and Joshua Levi but then it hit me that John and Joshua both start with J. Not sure why we didn't think of that before. So we combined the two names of Anthony and Joshua and we could still call him AJ!
