As the world confederates with evil, do we see or are we blind to the signs of the times? the ante diluvians saw the sheep leading the lion into the ark and called Noah mad. What about today? When we talk about complete health reform, when we say salvation from sin and living a righteous life like Jesus, is there a group saying we are out of our minds "mad" or that we are fundamentalists? or all those words when if examined could be construed to mean the same thing "mad like Noah". The time is now to wait upon Jesus. Not in sin but outside of it. a Time of Godly sorrow. A time of true conversion.

Tuesday December 3

Judgment will be against all who are not truly converted and giving glory to God. "Justice and judgment" will involve those who profess to be children of God. Justice is not overlooked for us. Today is a day to afflict our souls and to spend time with Jesus. The call for revival and reformation is not without a need. To be Laodicean is to be in a lost condition. It is true that justice will be rendered against the papacy, but it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for Seventh-day Adventists who have not walked in the glorious light shining upon our path.

The world needs to know that justice and judgment, as predicted in Daniel 8:14, will come and that now is the time to accept the salvation offered us in Jesus...

...All who profess to serve God and who are not changed in character to reflect our Lord, have good reason to fear God. The judgment being spoken of is the investigative judgment spoken of by Daniel.

"Judgment will be against all who are not truly converted..." Christ is the Benchmark of humanity...In His person humanity, inhabited by divinity, was represented to the world... God's Amazing Grace, p. 14.4 In a very real sense, the life Christ lived in the likeness of sinful flesh away back then, "judges" all professed Christianity, today. What is vital for us to comprehend is that we must be hid; now, by the indwelling presence of Christ (through the impartation of His Spirit, His very life) within the inner temple of our soul.

"The world needs to know that...now is the time to accept the salvation offered us in Jesus.." The divine life of Christ, manifest by the true Believer, will make the Sinner long for Jesus; this, is what will bring about a world-wide polarization into the two "camps" at End-time, a "reaping at time of Harvest".

If you will place yourselves under the influence of the truth, if you will receive the truth into the heart, you will have confidence and power to present it to others. Christ will be made unto you wisdom and righteousness and sanctification. You will be laborers together with God, following Christ’s guidance. Such laborers are as sharp sickles in the harvest field. They do not use their God-given powers in arguing and debating. Pointing to Calvary, they cry, “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Like Moses, they endure the seeing of him who is invisible. Through their efforts, souls are won to Christ; for God is with them. RH October 29, 1903, Art. A, par. 4

With the great truth we have been privileged to receive, we should, and under the Holy Spirit’s power we could, become living channels of light. We could then approach the mercy-seat; and seeing the bow of promise, kneel with contrite hearts, and seek the kingdom of heaven with a spiritual violence that would bring its own reward. We would take it by force, as did Jacob. Then our message would be the power of God unto salvation. Our supplications would be full of earnestness, full of a sense of our great need; and we would not be denied. The truth would be expressed by life and character, and by lips touched with the living coal from off God's altar. When this experience is ours, we shall be lifted out of our poor, cheap selves, that we have cherished so tenderly. We shall empty our hearts of the corroding power of selfishness, and shall be filled with praise and gratitude to God. We shall magnify the Lord, the God of all grace, who has magnified Christ. And He will reveal His power through us, making us as sharp sickles in the harvest-field. The Review and Herald, February 14, 1899.

...the truth...shall slay self. Cannot we trust in God? Testimonies for the Church Volume 2, p. 496.2

Jesus saith...I am the way, the truth, and the life... John 14:6

Those whose hearts are filled with spiritual life will not need to be urged to reveal this life. The divine life will flow forth from them in rich currents of grace. As they pray, and as they speak, God is glorified. BEcho June 11, 1900, par. 4

There is no limit to the Lord’s efficiency. He is prepared to advance and to add new territory to His kingdom; but His people must do their part in carrying forward this work. “Ask, and it shall be given you,” is the promise. Our part is to rest on the word with unwavering faith, believing that God will do according to His promise. Let faith cut its way through the shadows of the enemy. When a questioning doubt arises, go to Christ, and let the soul be encouraged by communion with Him. The redemption He has purchased for us is complete. The offering He made was plenteous and without stint. Heaven has a never-failing supply of help for all who need help.
BEcho June 11, 1900, par. 45

What I find so very inspiring, is the thought that not only is Christ the Judge; the Advocate; He is the One whose “works” that  have born fruit within the Believer through the impartation of His Holy Spirit (which IS His life), that are Judged by Him as qualifying the Believer to be judged righteous! Yes; we are SAVE BY HIS WORKS!

...whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Hebrews 3:6

Christ died to purchase salvation for us. He was raised for our justification, and He ever lives to make intercession for us. His life and death bring salvation to every believing child of God. By His death we are reconciled to God; by His life, as it is wrought out in our life, we shall be saved. ST June 17, 1903, par. 12

He [the believer] may die, as Christ died, but the life of the Saviour is in him. His life is hid with Christ in God. “I am come that they might have life,” Jesus said, “and that they might have it more abundantly.” He carries on the great process by which believers are made one with Him in this present life, to be one with Him throughout all eternity.... Maranatha, p. 301.4

At the last day He will raise them as a part of Himself.... Christ became one with us in order that we might become one with Him in divinity. Maranatha, p. 301.5

Christ’s life represents a perfect manhood. Just that which you may be, He was in human nature... (Letter 106, 1896).

...Jesus...will live through (YOU), giving (YOU) the inspiration of His sanctifying Spirit, imparting to (YOUR) soul a vital transfusion of Himself. Sabbath-School Worker 02-01-96.03  ...as the blood

"Amen", Wigina!

Amen:
(From אָמַן (H539): verily, truly, amen, so be it)

ἀμήν(G281): -so it is, so be it, may it be fulfilled. It was a custom, which passed over from the synagogues to the Christian assemblies, that when he who had read or discoursed, had offered up solemn prayer to God, the others responded Amen, and thus made the substance of what was uttered their own.

...in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. Matthew 18:16

You have described the difference between the sheep and the goats (Matthew 25:33); yet, may we receive day by day His Spirit; that we may, as the prophet Ezekiel, comprehend that:

Though they may seem unwilling to hear or to receive the light of truth, without questioning or wavering we are to do our part. We are to repeat to them the message. “Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
S.D.A. Bible Commentary Vol. 4, p. 1165.3

It is not the human agent that is to inspire with life.  The Lord God of Israel will do that part, quickening the lifeless spiritual nature into activity. The breath of the Lord of hosts must enter into the lifeless bodies. S.D.A. Bible Commentary Vol. 4, p. 1165.4

...I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God... Galatians 2:20

The divine mind and will is combined with the human mind and will; thus the utterances of the man are the Word of God.
Manuscript 24, 1886

The divine life will flow forth from (you) in rich currents of grace. As (you) pray, and as (you) speak, God is glorified.
BEcho June 11, 1900, par. 4

Luke 11:
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
15 But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20

...if (you do) not keep strict guard over (your)self, if (you)allow...the barriers against sin to be broken down, Satan will overcome (you) with specious temptations. There will be a blemish in (your) character that by its evil influence will mold other minds. The moral palsy of sin will not only destroy the soul of the one who departs from strict principles, but will have the power to reproduce in others the same evil. Medical Ministry, p. 72.3

It is not safe to be occasional Christians. We must be Christlike in our actions all the time. Then, through grace, we are safe for time and for eternity. Medical Ministry, p. 73.1

It is essential to live by every word of God, else our old nature will constantly reassert itself. It is the Holy Spirit, the redeeming grace of truth in the soul... RH October 12, 1897, par. 7

Yes; explicitly! The genuine context of "saved by" His "works", blends beautifully in the verse: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God... Galatians 2:20; For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21.

As I said, "He (Jesus) is the One whose “works” that  have born fruit within the Believer through the impartation of His Holy Spirit (which IS His life)..."

Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2 Corinthians 4:10

Heaven Begins Here—As through Jesus we enter into rest, heaven begins here. We respond to His invitation, Come, learn of Me, and in thus coming we begin the life eternal. Heaven, Page 170.1

-Now; and, passing the "doomsday" of this world, self may be kept at REST; (...if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death... Romans 6:5) then, throughout Eternity.

May the cry of Christ's become our (consistent constant) own! -Indeed it IS; if and ONLY AS, we have sought, then found the Day Star (2 Peter 1:19; John 1:9)! "
I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! Luke 12:50" As the song says, "Embrace the Cross"!

...deny...self...take up (your) cross daily, and follow Him... Luke 9:23 ...follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. Revelation 14:4

There is a lady who has a website where she promotes the ram in Daniel 8 as the United States  and the he goat as socialism. She is claiming a secondary application where because the ram and he goat are sanctuary animals that places them in the time frame of now. That seems like an unwarranted assumption to me.

Unless there is an inspired source for a secondary application (as in the case of Isaiah's prophecy of a virgin birth), it is pure speculation.  And I don't see how it fits the current situation anyway.  A goat can symbolize a variety of things, but I've never heard that it stands for socialism.

How many different interpretations are there for end time prophecies? Why? What is the effect?
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

I'm not sure how many alternative  interpretations are out there.  We're familiar Bacchiochi's belief about Islam being the little horn.  What these unsubstantiated views do is distract us; because we have to take time refuting them, rather than focusing on what we know is truth.

Amen Brother Wally. Satan works hard to lead precious souls away from the truth. He mingles his lies in with much truth. Many are not seeking truth that they may honor Christ, but seeking something new that they may be glorified. How very sad. Many who have not given their hearts fully to Christ, are indeed distracted by these false interpretatons which may appear very attractive. Better to spend time beholding Jesus, then He will give spiritual insight to rightly understand the prophecies which foretell what is happening around us and is about to break upon the world.

There are many Bacchiochies in the church. They write books, preach sermons, and build up a following. Poor fallible creatures we are. Rather than looking unto Jesus and His Word, we look to erring fallible man. Let us spend more time in prayer and in reading the inspired counsel.
