As you plead with God to bless them, your own hearts will be subdued and softened by his grace.  {RH, January 28, 1904 par. 15}

Looks like we are blessed as seek to bless others. Just another example of God's government is based on self-forgetfulness. Thanks for this reminder.
By communion with God in nature, the mind is uplifted, and the heart finds rest.  {DA 291.1}

With the recent events within the church, many leaders who are also ministers of the gospel are in need of prayer. Those standing on the side of the world Church are being tried above and beyond that which they already endure for His sake. Please remember them as you pray over the holy Sabbath hours. They need grace afresh. They also need to know how much we appreciate their faithfulness.

At times like this we are prone to say, "I don't know how to help them. All I can do is to pray." To pray to the Father is the absolute best thing we can do to help them. There is power from on high that is needed especially now. Access to it is through prayer in the name of Jesus.

Blessings to all of you this Sabbath day.

We need to especially remember the pastors and elders situated in the Philippines and environs. They have an especially difficult road ahead of them with the devastation from the typhoon. We ask that God will wash them, clean them and ready them for service as never before. We ask for revival and reformation among God's people as disasters increase all around us. We need Him every minute of the day.

Thank you for your reminder to pray for those who have been given great responsibilities! We need to do this. God wants to work; each of us just needs to surrender fully, to open the channels so God can work through us. We should pray for each pastor who is in the valley of decision, as all of us are daily, that the choices they make would be on the side of truth and righteousness. Let us also pray that they would lead the people they influence to make their dependence wholly on God, to follow His Word despite what those around them are doing.
Amy Pavlovik ~~ “The strength and spirituality of the people of God are manifest by the distinctness of the line of demarcation which separates them from the world.” SW 17
