Brain Tumor
« on: October 10, 2011, 11:12:53 PM »
:(I just found out that my youngest son (who has a brain tumor) is "homeless."  He was staying with his girlfriend, but that didn't last as he is also an alcoholic and won't come to terms with it.  He is to start chemo soon, and is just making the rounds from friend's couch to friend's couch, and has no place to recover.  Please pray that he will come back to the Lord, that healing will come according to God's will, and that he willl have a place to recover.

And pray for me too....as this is killing me!  I have very little contact with him, and none since this happened.

Oh, Naja! As his mother, my heart breaks for you. Our children, precious children, Satan wishes to destroy by any means possible. If we can comprehend it, God loves them more than do we. We will commit this situation to God and His Spirit, as there is no greater power under heaven by which to snatch him back.

We will also pray for your tender heart, dear mother. By faith, believe God is already working to restore that which has been lost.
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89

I too am praying for you and your son Naja.

Heavenly Father, we pray for Naja and her son. Comfort Naja and give her son eyes to see that he needs you. We thank you for this most precious promise..... "Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?  But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children."  We ask that you contend with Satan over this precious young man. We pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

O, Naja, how often I have claimed that promise! My heart aches for you...I was in a very similar position with my second son at one time, did not know where he was, he was using alcohol, and was sick....it is just the hardest thing in the world for these things to happen to our children. My prayers go out to our Father for your son, and for you.
