The Adventists Receives an Award
The Adventists won the Silver Award for best long-format documentary at the 2010 annual Peer Awards. The awards program, sponsored by TIVA (Television, Internet & Video Association of DC, Inc.), honors the best in television produced by filmmakers in the mid-Atlantic region. An awards ceremony was held this past Saturday evening at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.
The Adventists is a one-hour documentary now airing nationally on PBS stations, that tells the story of Seventh-day Adventists and their unique approach to health and healing that has made Adventist some of the healthiest and longest living people on the planet.
