May God's Light Shine On Us All

« Reply #280 on: February 11, 2010, 09:27:45 PM »

Oh Dear Esther,
This must be hard for you to look on and see.
But I also feel that the Lord allowed her to be in a place where
her only hope is the Lord and that hopefully she will see
this. He has plans my friend.
Dear Father in heaven, we bring before you just now, this dear
sister and her grave concerns for a family member that she dearly
cares about. You know the sorrow and the cares that she has lived
with all her life. We are not using this for an excuse for her mistakes
but rather as a knowledge that You are the all knowing God, the only
one who knows the affrairs of mankind before they are even born. In
Your hands dear Lord we lay this young woman with child. You know the
situation and the possibilities that You are laying open for her. Bring her to
You just now dear Father. Bring her close that she may yearn to know You
better. I pray for her healing Lord, according to your will. This is prayed in Jesus
Holy Name and for His sake only. We will give You all the Praise and all the Glory,
Amen

Sister Sybil is snowbound and it is creating some concern. Your prayers are appreciated, that God will continue to protect and enable her to be able to get out and about. Thanks.

She was snowed in a few years ago. I hope she is prepared for it. Do you know?

Knowing her, one would think so.  It sounds like she needs to get somewhere though.  Praying here!

Here, too! I trust she will be catching up on posts soon - and pray she gets to where she needs to go.

God bless you! I just got home, making it just fine, sure-footed on thick layers of ice. A friend sent me home in her Jeep 4WD. Although I was busy helping Jude's family, I needed to be here, too. The snow plows finally came so the roads were cleared. It is the very first time being caught away from home - needing to be home. What an experience! Thank you for your prayers. Heaven is faithful every single time. Thank you!

Please pray for Sue; she is a fellow Christian of another denomination. She announced today that she may have breast cancer - she's going in for further tests tomorrow. I would love to have more spiritual conversations with her but if she has cancer the opportunity might be gone since the only time I can see her is the place we both volunteer at once a week. Jesus knows what is best, and that is what I pray for. Thank you for your prayers.

Prayers will help, He can open ways for you to know her better and help her.
If you have a CHIP program close to you this would be a wonderful way to help
her. This has helped so many with these awful illnesses. And it helps everyone
with general Good Heath (God's Way). Those who follow it have tremendously
experienced changed lives.... no longer dying but healthy and going on with
life. Smiley

Thank you, Marie. I wish there was one in the community. There isn't even an SDA church. Unemployment has left most of us pretty much stranded concerning distance travel. I did share health info with her & hope she will at the very least get Dr John McDougall's book from the library - I can't remember the name of it now, but he has a good one on women & cancer that I know she'd be able to get a hold of & learn much from.

A wonderful book. Next to the Dr. who does Chip, this one you mentioned is so good. I hope that she gets the book. Smiley

Thank you everyone. The tests came back negative. I am still trying to reach her & the others where I volunteer with the health message.

I was sitting in a clinic when the power surged and went out. Backup generators quickly came on. Driving home I saw ambulances and firemen at the home of one of my distant neighbors, a backhoe operator I had never met but frequently saw while traveling on that little road.  A friend of his, the plumber I am using on the construction site, called late last night saying he didn't get to our work because his friend was fatally electrocuted while digging a trench.

I'll tell you, Satan is going about as a roaring lion, snatching this one and that one from our midst. Please keep this man's family in prayer. It is a painful loss for our community.
