Does anyone have a recent report on how Dane Griffin is doing?

Those who are familiar with Dane and Vicki Griffin might be interested in this sad information. This comes from their daughter Gina's facebook.

Greetings everyone!
Mom and Dad spent the day at the doctor's today, one of the many involved in his care. Unfortunately he confirmed Dad's diagnosis, he has metastatic cancer to his spine that may have spread elsewhere. It will take a miracle from God to save his life. He has worked miracles before, why can he not do it again? Please join me in storming heaven's gates for my Dad.

Jim, this is horrible news. So sad to hear this. My prayers are with him and his family. Such a trial!

I heard recordings of Elder Holmes from Michigan. On the opening of each is the incredible music of "Cumbaya" played on flute and Dane's voice saying, "Come by here, Lord, Stay here, Lord." The inflections in his voice with the music in the background is striking, very moving.

The Lord's will be done. So sad.

The Lord's will be done.

My nephew called today to say there is some improvement in David. It appears that the disease progress is halting and his kidneys are working better. The paraylsis is in his left cheek and jaw due to the damage to nerves. He's still on the vent and heavily sedated. White count is dropping. My nephew is with him now. We are thankful to hear of this bit of improvement. Thank you to all who are praying.

Linda, how is David?

He's home, recovering. I see he's been getting on Facebook some. God has surely answered prayer form him.

O, Jim, I am so sorry to hear this!  We ate lunch at the table with the Griffins at camp meeting, and I asked when he had to go for his next checkup, he said "Right after Camp Meeting."  But, he said he believed it would be a good report.

I know he will have many prayers ascending for him.  Satan hates the work he is doing, and wants to stop it.  What an encouragement to all if God heals him.

Please pray for me -- I am having a terrible struggle with my attitude about some decisions that our church is making right now.  I have brought my concerns to the Pastor and then to the board.  They are not being addressed to my satisfaction and I need to let go of them.  I recognize my feelings for what they are and know who is urging them, but would appreciate your prayer added to my own.

Heavenly Father, our dear sister has an urgent request for prayer. You know exactly the situation and are well able to send angels and your Spirit in answer to our prayers. We ask that you do so in a manner that will glorify Jesus and work to the salvation of souls. We know that all things work together for good to those who love you. Our sister loves you and we pray that those involved in this situation do also. If not, we pray that this trial, whatever it may be, will work for their salvation. Thank you for the opportunity for prayer and the faith our dear sister has to rely upon it. Bless her faith, we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Linda, I, too will be praying for this family situation.  God is well aware of just what needs to happen to bring peace and hope.

Sybil, I have been praying for Fran, too.  Is she better?

Tim and Linda, we will keep you in our prayers. With God all things are possible. Smiley

Dear Father in Heaven, You know the problems that Linda is having right now. We pray that you will be with her and encourage and strengthen her and her family. Guide them into good choices and let them know Your Love is with them always.
Dear Father we pray for Tim also. It is hard when things so not go the way we wish them to. It can really work on the feelings. We are told not to let feelings lead us for it is a open door for satan to have his way. So we pray that Tim will be able to see with Your help Lord the way you wish for him to go in this problem. If letting it go is what he needs Father, please make this possible for him.
We ask both of these prayers in Jesus Holy Name and for His sake that He may be Praised.
Amen

It seems that God has answered this prayer request. An individual had decided to go back to the world for awhile. Last evening they tried doing some things they haven't done since becoming a Christian, and they got quite ill. They decided that it just wasn't what they wanted to do after all.

Praise the Lord, Linda, eyes were open. The struggles we quietly endure can sometimes so overwhelm us that we simply give up to walk in the world for a season. We are so happy to know this outcome and that we had the opportunity to pray for them.

Dear Linda,
We are so pleased to see this problem taken care of. We must keep praying so that he continues with this thought and also so he comes to the point where he is doing it because he loves God and not because it does not pay. Then he will truly be in a safe condition.
God is so good and we are happy for you and the family member. Smiley Sister Marie

I'd like to lift my niece up in prayer. She is pregnant with a child by a man other than her husband and she is very ill. I would like to pray that not only she will be healed according to the Lord's will, but that also her heart and soul will be healed as well. She comes from a broken family, and is the product of many addictions and domestic violence. We've tried to witness to them over the years, but through circumstances beyond our control have lost all contact with the family until recently.
She is currently hospitalized for complications of the pregnancy including blood clots to the lungs and raised heart rate, etc. She has been in the hospital for approximately a week now and there is grave concern that there will be serious danger when the time comes for her to deliver her daughter.
Thank you so much for your prayers and I look forward to welcoming her and her family into the Kingdom along with all of you.

God bless you all!

What a heartbreaking situation, dear Esther. It appears as if God is already trying to get her attention. We pray she will let Him in. Do keep us posted on her situation. There are many out there just like her, so much in need of a Savior. May God help us all!
