Title: New Firefox Quantum
Post by: Richard Myers on July 03, 2018, 05:56:32 AM
New a few months ago. I have waited to see how users are doing with it. Any reviews with our users?

I'm deliberately stuck at version 56.0.2, the last pre-Quantum release.

The reason is that I make heavy use of a plugin that converts web pages to PDF, and the plugin doesn't work with 57+ releases.

I disabled the usual dire warnings about using out-of-date software.

I haven't done any reading yet about the new version. I really need to. However, I'm like the rest of you, slow to change when something works. So I've been using Firefox ESR (esr = extended service release). Less updates, less often. You can find it here...

or older versions you can find here..
