We have registered members from Papua New Guinea . They will appreciate this sung by a men's choir from Papua New Guinea at the 2000 General Conference Session in Toronto, Canada. It was a blessing for me. They had come a long way to sing at the session.

Not what I'd call the standard a-capella. Very enjoyable and indeed a blessing!

They were not able to sing at the session. It was very sad. But, we are going to give them greater access to the church than they would have had at Toronto. I have a few more songs that I video taped. I am working to get them online.

Nice. I put it on the desktop as first choice for listening. We look forward to the videos!  :)  (The we part includes 12 year old son who said, "Do an exclamation point and smilie face.")

We are working on a format for the video. It seems we have a battle of the giants when it comes to which format what browser is going to play.  None of them want to share. They all want it all, the greedy ones. We are thankful for the hard work done by those who are not making millions.

Thank you for including it in Most Beautiful Hymns. When I see LindaRS at the General Conference in 2015, I want to sing this with her. She sang with her sister but they are now miles apart. And the woman I sang it with has moved to the west coast. It is such a beautiful song in need of being sung more often.

Are you familiar with the song "Ancient Words" ?

It is a beautiful song. I believe it is a new song (could be wrong) but it sounds like a hymn. The message is beautiful.

 Hmmm.... "Holy words long preserved
for our walk in this world,
They resound with God's own heart
Oh let the ancient words impart

Words of Life, wordfs of Hope
Give me strength, help us cope
In this world, where e'er we roam
Ancient words will guide us home.

                Ancient words ever true
                Changing me and changing you,
We have come with open hearts
Oh let the ancient words impart

                Holy words of our faith
                Handed down to this age
                Came to us through Sacrifice
Oh heed the faithful words of Christ.

                Holy words long preserved
For our walk in this world.
They resound with God's own heart
Oh let the ancient words impart.

This song has already been mentioned but this last Sabbath it was our closing hymn. I can't help but remind us again...
