You will notice that the forums are organized in eight categories. Welcome, Prayer and Testimonies, Study, Family, Health, Church and News, Services and Products, and Administration. Most forums are open to you for reading, the exception being the private forums. Some marked SDA may be accessed by those who have fully registered by sending in church affiliation and a contact phone number. Others may be restricted for private use by those involved in special activities. One such forum is the Moderator's forum. More may be added at a later date. All other forums are open for posting with the exception of the Ministry of Healing forum which is read only.

Forums will allow for members to select new topics for discussion with the exception of the New Members, Testimonies, Prayer, Bread of Life,  and Sabbath School forums. In these forums please suggest topics that you would lke to see discussed. You will find a thread for your suggestions. We believe this will serve a good purpose in helping us to be more organized.

There may some new users that are not familiar with the format being used. There is a selection that users will find helpful on the top of the Topics pages. Making a selection in the [Show topics from last ** days]  will allow you to receive more or less messages when you enter the topic you select. You may change this for each topic or you may go to "Preferences" also at the top of the page and select a default number of days that will always be the same.

Just a little pointer to help those that may not have known.  I would suggest you use "show topics for last year" to begin with and then change as you desire.

There are multiple pages in some threads (topics). As an example in the Welcome forum in the  "Purpose of The Remnant Online" topic there are multiple pages.  You will see the number of pages listed after you select the topic. Today, May 20, you will see this:

This topic is 12 pages long:   1  2  3  4  5  6  7  8  9  10  11  12

This indicates there are 12 pages in the thread and you will have to select the page you want to read with 12 being the current postings and page one the default (the starting page and the one that comes up automatically).

I noticed that when I post something in a restricted forum, it does not show up on the "Todays Active Topics" (which is supposed to show all of todays postings).  

Is there any way that "Todays Active Topics" can show new postings in the restricted areas?

Brother Art, the private forums are private. Many view the public forums and if I could, I would remove the names of private forums that are listed publicly. Notice the wording "Click Here To View Today's Active Topics (all public forums)".  Sometimes the topics being discussed are better left for Seventh-day Adventists only. The light should come on to the left of the forum that has new posts in it since your last visit.

Awww, now I see the light (no pun intended, LOL).  I never noticed the little light bulbs before (to the left of the forum titles).

Multiple Pages

Many topics will have more than one page. If this is the case you must select the page you wish to view if it is other than page one.
