Those who say there are not more earthquakes will have to correct their ideas. Soon, they will join with the army calling on God to quit shaking the earth. But, it will be to no avail. Jesus is coming soon and the earth is waxing old.

Earthquakes are so commonplace now that I can't keep up with what's happening where.  It's like watching popcorn.

This is a very interesting website, thank you Sybil.  After looking there we can expect some big ones closer to home.

It's a great site. The maps showing activity all along the Pacific Rim is quite unsettling.

Especially if you live along the Pacific Rim! On the other hand, God is our protector.

Major earthquake frightens Vanuatu

(AFP) – 5 hours ago

SYDNEY — A major 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific island nation of Vanuatu on Tuesday, generating a small tsunami and sending thousands of frightened people running for the hills.

The undersea quake, 35 kilometres (22 miles) deep and just 40 kilometres from the capital Port Vila, shook buildings in the city for about 15 seconds, but did not appear to have caused significant damage.

Foreign hotel guests and some residents raced to higher ground in case of a tsunami, locals said, while police sounded sirens to warn people to evacuate.

Yes, these are "major" quakes. They are but warnings of what is coming. Sydney and San Francisco are in need of instruction so that any who may love God can leave.  I was just sharing last night that San Francisco is a dangerous place to be. But, not for those who are sharing the truth. God is holding back the winds, but not for much longer. Out of the cities. They are filling their cups to overflowing.

These quakes are also prophets telling us that Jesus is even at the doors!! Look up! Our redemption draweth nigh!!

There are missionaries working on new projects in Vanuatu. They are on the isalnd of Gaua which also has an active volcano. It was disturbed last year by earthquakes. God calmed it down so their work could continue. Keep them in your prayers.

If we could, son & I would be there.  :) He wants to be Dr. Mark's assistant.  :) (The ATV also looks fun to ride.  ;))

Well, bless you. I have a Google alert on "earthquakes" and every morning there are about 8 to 10 new notices in that folder. It is very active out there! I have not been reporting anything under a 5, so when there is a new one, it's big!

Vicki - we will pray for your missionary friends. The Vanuatu area has really been active lately. Sometimes I have wondered if it is an old alert, but typically it isn't.
