Lesson 6, Salvation & the Second Coming, Sabbath Afternoon.
« on: April 29, 2000, 01:27:00 PM »
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

"God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom.5:8)

"The gift of God to man is beyond computation. Nothing was withheld. God would not permit it to be said that He could have done more, or rtevealed to humanity a greater measure of love. In the gift of Christ He gave all heaven." (AUCR 1900)

What does this promise really mean to us in the year 2000?

Has it been diluted through out the last 1990 years?

Have a good week studying God's word.

God's promises are eternal and are not diluted at all by time. "For I am the Lord, I change not..." (Mal.3:6) God promised a redeemmer to Adam and at the right time that promise was fullfilled. Because of Calvary it is now possible for all to be rescued from sin and restored to God at the Second Coming.
