Has anyone ever noticed that where there is water, there are green things?  Of course. It is most impressive where there is nothing green growing and a stream or river flows through the area. What a difference a little water makes!! This is an object-lesson of the influence that the saving grace of Christ should have upon the hearts and lives of human beings. And had those to whom God has given the riches of the water of life, realized the responsibilities resting upon them as stewards of the grace of God, and gone forth as faithful missionaries into all the barren places of the earth, the wilderness would have been made to blossom as the garden of the Lord.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Great correlation Bro. Myers. I think it is also interesting that the places were water has produced life, the water is always FLOWING. Movement appears to play an inportant role utilizing the nutrients and vital elements that water provides.

STAGNANT pools of water -  water without movement -  are places of filth, disease and foulness. Where there is no movement, there is no life.

So it is with the salvation and grace that God bestows upon us. Not only must we take it in, but we must also move with it - sharing it with others - so that the vital elements is provides can be fully utilized.

Amen!  The Word of God received must be passed along. If we hord it, as Israel did, it will be as stagnant water, like the manna gathered in excess. We who have Jesus in our hearts will want to help others understand the precious truths entrusted to us.  :)

Good to have your thoughts, (Brother ?...I get caught now and then  :) ) Fitzgerald!  :)
