Amen dear Brother Beacon! Thank you for telling those who are reading and will read what "great things the Lord hath done for thee." As you a and we share what God has done for you in response to the many prayers offered up, many will have their faith strengthened. Jesus wants to come and put and end to suffering in this world, but does not yet because He does not have a people who are faithful to keep His commandments. Many wonder why it is that God heals some and not others. There are a number of reasons. One reason He heals some is that there is a shortage of those who love the Lord our God with all of the heart, so He heals many who do.

Our Brother Beacon not only loves God supremely, but He testifies to the world that He does, every day after spending a thoughtful hour contemplating the life of Jesus. You can read what he shared with us today in the Desire of Ages Forum.   Peace Be Still

We can promise you that if you will spend a thoughtful hour a day with us reading Desire of Ages you too will love the Lord our God with all of your heart having been transformed into His character. How can we promise you such a miracle? It is not not our promise, but God's. "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Cor. 3:18. Never has the world been given a better revelation of the glory of God than in this most beautiful book. It is true that nature reveals His character, but not to the degree that we have here. The Bible and Desire of Ages reveal His character which is His glory. God asks us to give glory to Him (Rev. 14:7) which is to reveal His character. Thus, by  beholding His glory, which is His character, we are transformed into His image (His character). It is indeed His promise that  by spending time each day beholding the life of Jesus we are being conformed to His image. "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up" that we might "look and live."

Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.
