The Indian government is complaining about a free mapping program from Google, warning it could help terrorists by providing satellite photos of potential targets.

If you have not tried "Google Earth" and you have a fast internet connection it is worth the download to see what is available. It is amazing. Not all areas of the earth have crystal clear images.

Just type in an address and zoom in. In some cases you can see swingsets in peoples back yards. One of my friends was able to locate the place he use to work for and acutally find the exact parking space that he use to use.

I was able to get the first part of the download completed only to be rejected for installation. My Windows does not support Google Earth.

From what I understand it requires a broadband connection.
