Turkey Pushed Away From West
« on: May 28, 2019, 11:08:52 AM »
Knowing the end of the story, it is not surprising to see Turkey not being allowed to take delivery on F-35 fighter planes. Most do not know that Turkey participated in the development of the most advanced fighter jet in the air. They also maintain European F-35s, and manufacture parts of the jet. Their investment of over a billion dollars in the plane make this a sticky matter from what I can see. What will be the end of this refusal to deliver F-35s? This is a most serious problem that I don't believe can be overcome. Erdogan is going into Jerusalem no matter what.

NATO and the US understand the problem with Turkey purchasing S-400 radar systems from Russia. Turkey may at a future date share information with Iran or Russia that would reveal weaknesses in the F-35 in regards to the S-400 radar.

But there are fears that the radar on the S-400 systems bought by Turkey, which has entered into a sort of alliance with Russia and has been in close cooperation with Iran, could learn the weak spots in the jet and make it less able to evade Russian weapons in the future. source

One more not so little issue that is moving Turkey away from its relationship with the West and especially with NATO.

The "Daniel and Revelation" book written by Uriah Smith, 1897 Edition says Turkey will come to her end after she tries to set up her seat of government in Jerusalem (after the Country is totally overthrown).

Then Michael will stand up (Daniel 12:1) and probation will have closed. Jesus will soon come after this.

Because of this, I keep up on the news from Turkey.

Yes, Deb, this is what Smith said in his book which the church was told to distribute widely with the Great Controversy. When we study the Bible, we find support for His interpretation. Turkey is the King of the North and its Islamic leader said he will go into Jerusalem. He has set out to make himself the new caliph of the new Ottoman Empire, a caliphate that will lead Islam against Israel.....then she will come to her end and Russia nor China will come to her aid.

We are nearing the very end. Let us look up for our redemption draweth nigh!
