Elephant garlic.   It has a very mild taste and can be quite large!

We grow hardneck garlic that we plant in the fall and harvest the following fall. We do not know the actual variety but it is a very large porcelain type with about 4 or 5 large cloves. It doesn't last long in a household of 7 people.
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press  toward the mark. Phil. 3:13,14

That brings back memories of helping a family plant garlic in British Columbia in the fall. It was getting cold as we planted row after row of garlic. Sounds like you need to plant a few more rows of garlic dear Dorine!  :)
