Yah, Mike Tucker spoke at the WV campmeeting last week. He said he "equipped" the youth in his former church and let them do whatever they wanted for church service for the next six months while he defended them. He said that we need to let them make mistakes and that people were coming to church who had not come to church for years. Joel Olsteen could say the same thing. He also commented that we as adults have not been doing such a great job anyway. So, if your foot has infection cut your whole leg off ? A tell tale statement was when he said as a youth growing up in the church it was just a bunch of dos and don'ts.
Also, the Hispanic youth leader of the conference asked if we were ready to do what it takes to bring youth into the church. My reply would be, " not necessarily."
While they had good speaking on health with Hans Diehl they do not get it when it comes to music. They also promoted George Knight.
