I had a big picture of a filthy place with writing on the walls and a all around slum look to it. But the beautiful thing about it was that there was a huge hole in the wall and on the other side was a bright light, and pretty tree and country. A huge contrast from the room. In the room there was a little baby who discovered the beautiful whole that was so beautiful to this child, for the child had never before seen anything like it.
Leaving for the Light
How long have you walked, the streets of this world
That seemed to be all right, as you have been told.
Only because a better way you have not seen
Happy enough to stay, not reaching for the green.
But at one time or another, you see a better way
Like a hole in your life, no wish to stay,
For the first time, seeing the light of God’s love
Like the difference of the slum and heaven above.
Age does not matter, at this time you are young
Like a child, you want to see the Holy One,
Now within your heart, is pumping fresh blood
Inside, the desired change is like a flood.
Fresh heavenly water washing you inside out
Bidding you to follow and make a turn-about,
Slowly leaving the life of sin, the Spirit feeding
You’re walking into the entrance, God now leading.
Finely you are on the other side, leaving the slum
You no longer desire wrong, but follow The Holy One,
So happy that life has taken such a turn
A preparatory life for heaven, for this you now yearn.
