A Message to Mozzila (Firefox)
« on: November 21, 2017, 07:59:08 AM »
You have a great browser, Mozilla. But, you err in making changes we do not want. If someone wants a black background in tabs, let them use an addon. It is hideous.  And, I don't want to have to keep up with upgrading another addon. So, I have to look at this hideous black on my computer every day all day long.  And, I have to find other icons now that you have moved them. And, to add a tab, I have to move my screen so I can find the  +  since you now have chosen to make it white and almost invisible.

Listen to your users and correct the mistakes soon. And, we don't want you to violate our privacy as has Microsoft and Google.

I personally haven't updated yet so I'm not seeing what you don't like but you my friend might a client for FireFox ESR (extended service release). This version is made for organizations that just can't be updating all the time. They are full supported and are not updated near as often. You can find the ESR version here...

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

Now, if you wish that you had not updated you can always download the old version and put it back on. Just be sure to backup your bookmarks and addons.

It will take a little digging to find what you're looking for but they are all here...

Thanks, Jim. That sound great.

There was a reason for making the tabs background black. How often I have closed a tab by mistake. I did not know which tab was open on my screen. I am sure they made the tabs black because the open tab has a white background, thus easily identifying the open window.  But, the ugly black bar is disturbing. And, they moved things around. :(
