GC Meets With NAD
« on: January 20, 2017, 08:45:49 AM »
The redemptive process has begun. The meetings between the rebellious NAD and the world church leadership began yesterday. Let us pray for a change of heart in those who have rebelled against God and church. First Meeting

    " I question whether genuine rebellion is ever curable. Study in Patriarchs and Prophets the rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. This rebellion was extended, including more than two men. It was led by two hundred and fifty princes of the congregation, men of renown. Call rebellion by its right name, and apostasy by its right name, and then consider that the experience of the ancient people of God with all its objectionable features was faithfully chronicled to pass into history. The Scripture declares, "These things . . . are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come" (1 Corinthians 10:11). And if men and women who have the knowledge of the truth are so far separated from their great Leader, that they will take the great leader of apostasy, and name him Christ our Righteousness, it is because they have not sunk that shaft deep into the mines of truth. They are not able to distinguish the precious ore from the base material.  {9MR 360.2}
     Read the cautions so abundantly given in the Word of God in regard to false prophets that will come in with their heresies, and, if possible, will deceive the very elect. With these warnings, why is it that the church do not distinguish the false from the genuine? The church thus misled need to humble themselves before God, and sincerely repent, because they were so easily led astray. They could not distinguish the voice of the true Shepherd from that of a stranger.  {9MR 360.3}
     Let them review this chapter in their experience. For more than half a century God has been giving His people light through the testimonies of His Spirit. After all this time is it left for two men and their wives to undeceive the whole church of believers, declaring Mrs. White a fraud and a deceiver? "By their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:20).  {9MR 361.1}
     I do not feel that any evidence presented to these men will have the least effect upon them. In McCullagh's case, no new evidence can be given as to the truthfulness of the mission and work the Lord has given His servant to do. He has had the light. This apostasy has been permitted, that it may be faithfully written out in the true light, that the church at Adelaide may be helped to plant their feet upon the Rock of Ages and not on shifting sand. And this experience is to be a warning to others. Those who could ignore all the evidences God had given them in the recent camp meeting, and change that blessing into a curse, should tremble for the safety of their own souls. Their candlestick will be removed out of its place unless they repent. The Lord has been insulted. The standard of truth of the first, second, and third angels' messages has been left to trail in the dust. If the watchmen are left to mislead the people in this fashion, God will hold some souls responsible for a lack of keen discernment to discover what kind of provender was being given to His flock.  {9MR 361.2}
     The Lord has permitted this matter to develop as it has done, in order to show how easily His people will be misled when they depend upon the words of men instead of searching the Scriptures for themselves, as did the noble Bereans, to see if these things are so. Should the fair words of men, one of whom has had no real experience with us as a people, be so readily accepted? How can our people, with their Bibles in their hands, accept that which, if they would only consider, they must know is error and falsehood?  {9MR 361.3}
     The Lord has permitted this thing to be, that warning may be given that just such things will take place. Rebellion and apostasy are in the very air we breathe. We shall be affected by it unless we by faith hang our helpless souls upon Christ. If men are so easily misled, how will they stand when Satan shall personate Christ, and work miracles? Who will be unmoved by his misrepresentations--professing to be Christ, when it is only Satan assuming the person of Christ, and apparently working the works of Christ? What will hold God's people from giving their allegiance to false christs? "Go not ye after them" (See Luke 21: 8).  {9MR 362.1}

My wife read that quote to me just a few weeks ago. Amazing.

Our conference president has met with our pastors and shared with them information that the pastors are now sharing with the elders. They are trying very hard to get the local churches to join in the rebellion.

Here are the things being shared.....
Who Runs the Church by Gerry Chudleigh
Priesthood of All Believers by Rex Edwards
A Closer Look at Women's Ordination by Ty Gibson
Six Points of the Ordination of Women Issue by Gary Patterson
The Role of Union Conferences in Relation to Higher Authorities by George Knight, printed in Spectrum
The Antiorganizational People Organize in Spite of Themselves by George Knight
Analysis: The Use of General Conference Working Policy in the Case of Unions that Ordain Women by Mitchell Tyner as printed in Spectrum

Another one along the same line is.....
Hermeneutics and the Ordination of Women by Kyoshin Ahn, which is chapter 4 of the Theology of Ordination Study Committee Report given to TOSC in November of 2013.

The NAD, Unions and Conferences are doing everything they can to blame shift this back onto the GC.

There is much to do made over "unity".  Why? Because those who love God supremely will be unified in Spirit and be working toward unity of doctrine. But, we know that the unity God will have is unity on the foundation of our faith. We are not to depart from Scripture.

The GC is going to great lengths to work with the rebellious unions. This is as it ought to be. But, the world is in the church. The NAD leadership is walking in the path of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. It is not only rebellion against the world church, but against their own by-laws, and the Bible. This is only a symptom of a much deeper problem. They do not walk in the light of the counsel we have been given in every area of life and ministry. They allow the perversion of the gospel. So, what are we to think? What does the Spirit of Prophecy have to say about unity?

    We have a testing message to give, and I am instructed to say to our people, "Unify, unify." But we are not to unify with those who are departing from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. With our hearts sweet and kind and true, we are to go forth to proclaim the message, giving no heed to those who lead away from the truth.--Manuscript 31, 1906.

How many ways are the NAD and Western Europe leading away from the truth? Are they faithful in education, in publishing, in the health area, including hospitals, and the gospel message? Compare the work in these areas with the counsel we have been given. Are they walking in that light, or are they leading away from the truth?

Yes cp, the rebels extend their false teaching into many areas. The Pacific Union Conference, in California, will certainly lead out in accepting homosexuals into the church, and into ministry. NAD has been co-opted by the world.

Yes, our church today had a couple of the same sex. Several times they mentioned excepting these people in the church. So all these problems are coming into the smaller. churches and are being welcomed by leaders and people....while they are still couples. Before we know it they will be leaders and will be the example for our children. God help us. Don't get me wrong, all mankind needs a worship place, but where does the church say this far and no farther....or do they ever say it. I'm afraid they will never say no to them.

While in some areas of the world the church is growing by leaps and bounds there are other areas where it is in a free fall mode of apostasy.
