Here is another snake I know not the identity of. For size the lens/cover is 41mm wide.

Ok Wally, here is another for you. This snake is the same size as the last one and had a really bright orange belly. I don't know what this one is either.

Looks like a Red-bellied Snake to me.  The only other similar snake in your area would be Ringneck Snake, but they have a conspicuous ring around the neck.

Was hoping someone could verify my suspicion that these "broken" eggs are hatched turtle eggs. I've never seen any before but the amount and location (near a river) make me think that is what they are.

Sure looks like it.  Looks a lot like what happens when some critter raids a Snapping Turtle's nest.  They bury their eggs in the sand near a pond or stream.  Skunks, foxes, coons, etc., will dig them up.
