A "Threefold Cord"
« on: August 21, 2015, 08:04:27 AM »
"And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12.

Ever wondered what God meant with this verse? What is a threefold cord? Why is not easily broken? Does the world understand this?

Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Contemplating the response by another it came to my mind that many will benefit from this example who have not properly appreciated the importance of the "organized" church. Not as it now is, but when it is pressing together standing on Bible Truth. God has a denominated people that the church may do world-wide evangelism.

In the example set before us we see a work being done that can in no way be accomplished without are large number of people working together, so it is with the work entrusted to God's people. It takes the whole body working together, unified in Christ following the light given to us.
