In two weeks the General Conference Session in San  Antonio begins. God answers prayer. Let us join together  to pray for His Spirit to touch the hearts of the delegates who will be deciding important matters, especially the election of godly conference officers. There are many in the valley of decision. It is a matter of eternal life and eternal death for some. When the Sanhedrin met to decide the fate of the Son of God, some were setting their feet in a manner that they would never be able to recover from. Rebellion is often impossible to cure. But, let us pray for those who are headed in the wrong direction, that the love of Jesus will touch their hearts.
Jesus receives His reward when we reflect His character, the fruits of the Spirit......We deny Jesus His reward when we do not.

Often we turn to God for help. We pray earnestly that God will intervene in the lives of church members, family, friends, neighbors, and enemies of truth. How often do we then thank God when He answers our prayers. Sadly, I have found myself praising God for His help, but do not get down on my knees and thank Him from the bottom of my heart. Yesterday's election of Elder Wilson was an answer to the prayers of faithful Seventh-day Adventists from around the world. We now take time to prayerfully thank our Saviour, our heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit for their work in touching hearts and minds with the need to allow Elder Wilson to continue the work he began.

Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, we thank you for hearing and answering our heartfelt prayers for the election of Elder Wilson. We thank you for the work he is doing as he centers his messages in Christ and stand firmly on Bible Truth. Continue to lead and guide him, put a hedge about him and his family, we pray in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
